A wonderful welcome from Gedeon Mbunga. The whole team is welcoming, helpful,perfect. Lifts to all floors. Room very nice. Plenty of storage space. Very clean. Excellent bathroom. Plenty of electric sockets. In-house bicycle storage. Ideal location in the centre very close to the main bus stops. Highly recommended.

Lovely, clean and friendly hotel. The reception staff were always friendly and chatty, and very helpful when I forgot my phone charger. We had a room at the end of the hotel, very light, good size and spotless. It was nice to be able to open the windows so didn’t have to have the AC running. The location is perfect, and we were right next to the Christmas market (you could see from the window!) and a range of restaurants and bars. A short walk to the thermal spa and we also visited the Dreilandereck, something I would recommend (a short bus and then about a 1.5 mile walk, although is uphill). If returning to Aachen again I would definitely stay here.

Excellent location - old town just steps away and bus interchange nearby for exploring the area. We had 2 room on the 6th floor. Both rooms were modern and clean with a kettle to make hot drinks. Fully air conditioned. Unlike a lot of hotels there were no queues for the elevator. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping did a good job but slightly annoying they came very early in the mornings and woke us up, only found the do no disturb sign in the closet after a few days. Housekeeping missed one room on one day. Overall a positive experience, I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

I have stayed in this hotel quite a number of times and have always had a very good experience. The location of this hotel is perfect. You're just a few minutes away from the shopping area and the famous Dom. Also the big market square is within 10 minutes of walking. The room that I had was small, but clean, functional, and everything worked fine. The bed was very comfortable. The in-room safe was very large and my 16" laptop fitted nicely, leaving room for other valuables. There was also a water boiler with complimentary powder coffee and tea, plus a complimentary bottle with water. The work desk was not that large, but sufficient for some work on the laptop. The chair is not very suitable as a work chair for a longer period of time though. The bathroom was also on the small side, but including a shower, had everything you'd need. The shower cabin was smallish. The thing that really stood out was the breakfast buffet. I can strongly recommend to include this in your reservation. It was not only very extensive, but also had high quality food items. For example, the fresh fruit was truly freshly cut and not from a can. But there were many more items that tasted really well, like the various choices of fresh made bread. The breakfast staff was also very kind and provided great service. It didn't take them long to know my preferences for example. But this was true for all the staff and it really makes the difference. It is a major reason for me to return to this hotel. There was one thing however that I was disappointed with. This time, the WiFi signal was somewhat weak and also not very stable. Perhaps I was unlucky with the room that I had, but this has never happened before and I hope the hotel can look into this. Having said that, I'll be very happy to return to this hotel whenever my travels take me to Aachen!
