Where do I begin! From the moment I booked the Sofitel I had the pleasure of being in contact with Latifa who was truly amazing and so very helpful. My husband and I were visiting Agadir to celebrate my 30th birthday and everyone at the hotel made me feel so special and went above and beyond for this special occasion. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by all the wonderful staff who were so pleasant and friendly and when we entered the room we were simply blown away! The room decor was divine and Latifa booked us a fabulous suite with the most stunning views. I want to express a huge thanks to the staff who maintain the rooms as it was decorated with balloons, roses and a beautiful display on the bed with champagne and the most delicious chocolates! To celebrate my birthday we wanted to arrange a private dinner on the beach and the staff created the most unforgettable evening I could have ever asked for! I want to express a massive thanks to all the staff involved (I didn't get everyone's name) but I was in contact with the amazing Essayed who crafted this amazing evening. They arranged a stunning fire pit and displays with a beautifully decorated table and we had the pleasure of having the amazing chef Jacques and his colleagues cooked a Michelin star quality meal for us and it was the nicest meal I think we have ever had! I want to thank all the staff who were a part of this wondrous evening and for giving us these precious memories. I want to thank Mohammed also and all the chefs and each person who helped create this evening (I'm so sorry I can't remember everyone's name). Everything in the hotel is really amazing. The food is just outstanding!! It is a massive credit to chef Jacques! He is a truly talented chef! The staff at the Spanish restaurant were so nice too and the food again was unbelievable! They also had a fantastic guitar player and singer that set the most romantic scene during your visit. I also want to express my greatest thanks to my brother Ismail at La Page he has the most happiest, welcoming smile and a real credit to the restaurant and Sofitel. He also went out of his way to get me a gift for my birthday which I was so grateful for. We also had the pleasure of getting a massage at the spa which I would highly recommend and again the staff in the spa were just superb. The hotel is also at a fantastic location and its proximity to the beach if just perfect. We enjoyed room service which again the food was unbelievable and want to thank all the staff involved especially Mohammad Lagrani. I only wish I could remember everyone's name as there were so many people who made our stay one of a kind. Honestly the staff at this Sofitel deserve an award for their hard work and passion they have for the hotel and their guests. I cannot recommend staying at the Sofitel enough and we are already planning our next visit back here! Thank you everyone for creating the best birthday I have ever had and crafting live long memories for my husband and I. We are excited to see you all again.

This hotel is truly luxurious from the interior to the beautiful gardens leading down to the beach bar and restaurant and private beach. The staff are warm and welcoming throughout the hotel. At breakfast Omina was particularly helpful and greeted us with a smile. The bed was very comfortable with quality bedding and the towels were thick and fluffy. Our room was serviced each day with a top up in the evening if you wanted one. The restaurant served delicious food and menu was varied and well balanced each day. What took us by surprise was the absence of labels at dinner time. It meant the tagines were a mystery to us and on one occasion my husband almost served himself a brain tagine by mistake. One evening he mistook liver tagine for beef. I had mushroom soup that turnout to be fish soup. My advice to you is if you not sure ask one of the chefs for assistance. All the breakfast items were labelled which made it more relaxing. Not all the chefs spoke English and as we didn't speak French conversation could be challenging. Prices in the spa for treatments were same as in England. The same with cocktails. The week we spent in Agadir was one of our best holiday experiences in Morocco and we would have no hesitation returning here again.

Great impression for our first holiday in MOrocco

We went for a suite as travelling with our little son. The rooms are amazing and very newly refurbished. Nice fruit bowl, sweet pastries and plenty of water (the latter is replenished every day). We had a sea view with a nice big balcony. The breakfast buffet is very good as you would expect from a five star hotel. We also enjoyed a buffet dinner once which had a good selection. The Spanish restaurant was also very nice. Our favourite was the beach bar and restaurant. Amazing place to watch a sunset. The kids club was very quiet and as our little one has special needs it didn't really work for us but they did organise a baby sitter so we could go out for a slightly latter dinner on occasions. They are quite afew decent restaurants in walking distance. For me this hotel has the best location as it is directly on the beach unlike most where you have to cross the promenade. Staff were all very friendly and I would have to pick out Mohamed and Lahoucine who made our breakfast really special and helped with any special dietry requests we had. Adil doing turndown every evening was also super firendly and helpful. Also some of the ladies whose names I cannot remeber. Anyway in general terms super nice people.

The plates were delicious, and the chef Jacque was very welcoming. The fish is perfectly cooked especially the sea bream. The Oysters were fresh and delicious. Great ambiance with music and beautiful terrace by the beach. The excellent service from Hussen. Great experience!
