Do not stay at this hotel!!

We arrived at the hotel around 19:30 as part of our journey to Spain. Upon check-in, we inquired about the breakfast and check-out times. The reception staff informed us that breakfast was served until 11:00. However, when we arrived for breakfast at 10:03 the following morning, we were told that breakfast service had already ended. We mentioned the information given to us at check-in, and initially, the receptionist said we could still have breakfast. We took our dogs outside for a brief walk while my husband packed the car. Upon returning just two minutes later, the receptionist rudely informed us that we could no longer have breakfast, contradicting his earlier statement. When we tried to clarify the situation, the receptionist responded rudely and unprofessionally. To our shock, he not only refused to accommodate us but also became verbally abusive and threatened us with physical violence. This behavior is entirely unacceptable and goes against the hospitality standards that we expect from Ibis hotels.

this is a hotel outside Orange, in the commercial district (read malls). And...it's just bad. It's a "business" hotel, as they say. Bed is bad, A/C good. Breakfast..I did not dare to bother. No fridge in the room. The lady at the desk charged me twice and I am still waiting for the refund. She apparently did not know that Booking.com already charged me. How is that possible? I don't know. It's just a plain. boring. no frills hotel . Beware

Hassle free reception. Good sized, clean room. Comfortable bed. Excellent powerful shower but rather small towels. Usual fare for breakfast with good range of cereals, coffees etc. Would use again if in Orange.

I booked a stay with the hotel for late June 20 at the beginning of Jan 20. The following week due to circumstances beyond my control I had to move the date to mid June. Essentially my hospital consultant had cancelled the treatment clinics I attend causing me reschedule my appointments and to change my holiday dates. I notified the hotel that I needed to change the dates immediately only to be informed that this was not possible due the booking being non cancellable or changeable. Therefore I would need to forfeit the full amount already paid and have to rebook. In effect paying twice for the stay. I did challenge this with hotel, but they would not relent sticking to the T&C's. I accept the T&C's were taken into account at the time of booking, however I was not expecting to need to change my dates. It's not happened before. What I can't accept from the hotel is their attitude. I was giving them six months notice. It is not as if the room will not be utilised. Moreover the costs for changing the stay are minimal. Overall instead of making the change they maintained an officious attitude, with poor customer service and empathy. They are welcome to take my money. However I will not be staying with them. Furthermore I will be blacklisting Accor hotels for my business trips in the UK. Something to keep in mind. I thought it would be harder to reschedule my appointments with the hospital for something which is very specialist, with treatment appointments booked a year in advance. Southampton General managed to move everything around on one call. Accor hotels couldn't be bothered to do a simple date change.. SGH 10/10 Ibis Sud 0/10. Essentially you suck.

Dear SMOUGHTON, You've opted for a non-modifiable, non-cancellable and non-refundable reservation, these terms are stipulated in the sale conditions. If you had reserved directly at the hotel with the public rate, no prepayment would be required with the possibility to cancel or modify the reservation without any charge before 6 p.m Therefore, the hotel had applied the terms of the sale conditions, if not, it is not Worth mentioning them. typical ibis, good clean room. Bathroom could do with more light, and with a bit higher water flow in the shower. Power outlets are pretty scarce. No restaurant at the hotel, but adjacent (you cannot charge the restaurant bill to your room, it needs to be paid in the restaurant). You can eat at good price/quality ratio in the restaurant. Staff is very kind and helfpul. Good location (near to motorway exit) if you're by car
