This was like a mini resort hotel with its own beach and also pools. The hotel areas look fantastic and have some great views. Location wise its quite remote and secluded so you can't walk to much other places however you can easily order taxis here. Initial impressions were the hotel looked quite nice, different from your typical corporate business Novotel however the rooms did seem a bit tired and old. Our room smelt of cigarette smoke and no amount of cleaning or turning on the AC really covered this smell. We just got use to it which was a bit unfortunate as the rest of the hotel was nice. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It also had water bottles and amenities if you requested them. The bathroom had a bath shower combo and was a decent size. Breakfast was average with different choices, what you would expect from a normal Novotel. There were several restaurants in the hotel but we didn't get a chance to try these. The pool areas looked very nice and they had lifeguards on duty and they closed quite late. The staff and manager here were friendly and helped where they could. This hotel would be great if they could eliminate the cigarette smells in the room and has the potential to be a 4 or 5 rating.

Hotel is as 3stars hotel. Absolutely did not answer about my question before our traveling after booking and payment. No communication and not nice staff behind the check in or check out. Philipino woman very sassy! Hotel is old and giving not bottle of water nothing after your long traveling. They said the tap water is ok and they are about ecoligy. All Bahrain except one street is about garbagges and dirty areas. This hotel has a pool for adult people where the water is over 2 meters only!!! They don't care also must ask please can I got some clean towel? The hotel is expensive. They also do not care about people who has some allergies of food. I have and plus lactose intolerance I sent many emails before traveling and calling such expensive to Bahrain but they were rude in the falling and emails...never got answer. I forgot the name of that chef who was in that restaurant for breakfast. Only he told me sorry and brought some lacto.se fre chees..Ismail the name ? 🤔. And boys for cleansing those rooms also cared well. But staff in the desk 3 women there !! But for nothing. The beach was ok and of sand. They seems as they prefer russians tourists only. I do not tecomende for EU!

The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. I had a note about the late check out policy as you can go as far as 2PM which is weird as they are a five hotel resort and a lot of other resort/ hotels give you until 5 with no charge but they explained to me that this is with all hotels in Bahrain

Excellent hotel. Best cost and benefit for guests with family. The room is huge and accommodate a family of 4 easily. Special thanks for the pool bar service, specially Mr. Ravindu who was very kind with my both daughters and me. I wish to return to this hotel very soon.

Unique looking Novotel

Just come back from a three night stay at the Novotel Bahrain. We’re a family of four (kids 1 and 3). First thing is like so many hotels why are there so so many 1st time reviews with weird names? It just makes it hard to get a true tripadvisor feel for the place and I always discount those reviews. That aside, the hotel is quite remote but is a lovely little mini resort. If you’ve ever stayed at a Novotel before this looks nothing like any other Novotel. The room was a one bed suite which was ok but pretty tired furniture. I’m over 6 foot and the bathroom was tiny, and I had to crouch to have a shower. But the room was clean. We did notice a beach club next door so if you want a quiet stay ask for the other side. We ate at the main buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner and we found the food to be pretty decent with a good selection. The staff were excellent and helpful throughout the whole trip. The beach and pool areas were nice and really well maintained. There was a small but well equipped children’s indoor playroom but no kids club. I used the gym once, and I found it really basic,with no towels. It was also way too hot to run on the treadmill. Top tip, go to a supermarket before you arrive as there are no shops in walking distance. Malls are about 15 min drive. All in all a pretty good stay in a resort that looks nothing like a typical business Novotel.
