Since May 2025, I come to this hotel twice or three times a month. It's pet friendly and I'm okay with it. Price has been always steady and great breakfast. However, I went there on a Sunday (it's winter time right now) and when I checked out on Monday morning, suddenly the price hiked US$ 20.00, because on Sunday, the hotel was "too busy" and the "demand was high". Have you ever heard of anything more stupid than that? No one came up with a more precise answer. The Supevisor or GM or whoever he was "Matias Correa", gave that pitiful answer. Website is still listing US$ 60.00 as a flate rate, plus taxes! Shameful and disgraceful for regular customers!

I booked a room through a web page ibisramblamontevideo.guestreservations.com. I found misleading information about pricing and at the end for a three day reservation I paid 600 U$S that appeared when the transaction was finalised. Theoretically I shouldn’t pay taxes because of a foreign identify card but I was not reimbursed although taxes were included in the price.. And when I talked to the manager he didn’t accept any responsibility nor any type of compensation for that exorbitant price and the unfair price.

Ibis always reliable. Very good location.

Very nice location on the Rambla. Walking distance to a number of restaurants. Grocery store a block away. Close to the Old Town with the Old Port Market. Near the city center. A number of minimarts close by, too. Ibis is a good value and dependable.

The location of the hotel on the Rambla is excellent. The room service and at the reception are very kind and help a lot. The location is close to the old city, you can walk. The hotel is in the Palermo neighborhood, a cute neighborhood, kind and helpful people

never order croissants at breakfast rooms are just for one day, no cofee machine and not provided with soaps or caps. cookies come bagged and are better. ( breakfast at 5:30 am) before going to montevideo´s port.)
