We spent four nights here with no AC and no ice for cold drinks. We had an unpleasant welcome when checking in. Only one, of two, room keys worked. We got that corrected and then, the following day, neither of them worked. Only open Wi-Fi was available. Unsecured Wi-Fi is not acceptable in 2025. Breakfast consisted of croissants, breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, and a selection of deli meats. The cappuccino and hot chocolate were good.

Our hotel does not yet have air conditioning; this option is being considered for a future renovation of the hotel, in order to provide better service in the future. We were driving back home across Europe and arrived here needing a room late in the evening as another hotel had let us down. They could not have been nicer. Sweet friendly staff, kind to our son, very helpful. Yes, the rooms are small but it was just for the night and they were clean and comfortable. We got here too late for any restaurants to be open but the McDonald's is a couple of minutes walk away so we didn't starve! Lots of parking (we were pulling a trailer and there was no problem getting two spaces for the car and trailer). Parking is secure. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Big supermarket very close by, which was handy to pick up a few French groceries before we left!

You get what you pay for- however the bed was extremely hard and lacked top mattress. Everything is very plastic and easy to clean, feels somewhat filthy. Breakfast better than expected. Fenced parking. Convenient location close to the highway. Exercise ideas in the stairway.

The hotel was just what we needed for a rest before heading to the early morning ferry. Clean rooms and secure parking at a reasonable price, was exactly what we were looking for. It is a budget hotel and does its what it says on the tin :)

We’ve stayed here a few times either side of ferry journeys. On the plus side is it’s secure, gated parking and both the reception area and receptionists are very pleasant. The rooms really are small - expect to have to side step between the wall and the beds! The shower was clean and spacious. It’s little things that are letting it down- a broken toilet seat, light not working and the room was cold upon arrival. They used to be cheap, but when one considers what Premier Inn and Travelodge offer, they’re not as cheap or as good.
