Do not book here. My partner is unwell and they refused to even move the date of our booking even though the booking is a couple of weeks away! Terrible customer service and I can see from the reviews that a lot of people are saying similar things

It's a budget hotel so one doesn't expect 5-star luxury. Our room was small but very clean and adequate for our needs (we were out all day and mainly needed somewhere to sleep). Bed was comfortable and room was cleaned daily (we were there 6 nights). Self-service continental-style breakfast was more than adequate. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Location convenient (20 min walk to the SEC, good bus links to city centre). No complaints, would happily stay here again.

I book the IBIS Budget when I have business in Glasgow. The hotel is situated on Springfield Quay just over the South side of the river Clyde. Rooms are quite basic, no cups, kettle etc. However the beds are comfortable and the showers are powerful and warm with free parking. The staff are excellent and I cannot praise them enough. Not much food at dinnertime apart from pizza made behind the reception. Only one complaint is the breakfast. It is £8.50 for a very poor continental and the beans are often cold. I usually dial up just eat and get a better breakfast delivered for a cheaper price. Apart from that I highly recommend.

We stayed one night as we were at a concert that ended late. When we arrived, the receptionists were very accommodating and ensured that everything was done correctly. Took us through the elevator mechanisms etc., the room was perfect for what we paid and the night we spent there. The parking was free no matter how long you stay. It is in a retail park which made food very easy to get [Nandos/Chaiwalla/Costa]. Would definitely use this again. Only 30mins minutes away from Glasgow Green

They are not lying about being budget. There is a difference between being budget and badly managed and dirty. The room are in very bad condition. The window of my room were broken, shower place were very badly clean and damaged. The toilet 🚽 were separate from shower room no ventilation, bad flooring. The only thing I nice I could say was nice staff. At least with me. I witnessed a lady complaining about her accessible room she booked for her daughter and she didn’t get a very friendly customer service. For a bit extra I would recommend somewhere else.
