ibis budget Coffs Harbour 3 étoiles

Our initial room was Room 20 - we should have read the reviews on here beforehand- seems like the cockroach problem still is a current issue in this room. The room itself was clean, although a strong smell of bleach was present. The woman on reception was super helpful and moved us to another room. This room was very clean and smelled ok, the bed was comfortable and other than not having any spoon to make coffee was ok. Plenty of parking and a small cafe for breakfast. It is a little tired, carpets a little thin, however it is a budget hotel and location ok.

The Ibis is very dated, the carpet was threadbare and smelly, the bathroom walls were very old and there was urine on the bathroom floor. Sheets were not clean and room was exceptionally small. This motel needs to be completely refurbished or knocked down.

I’m known amongst friends and family for always researching accommodation and restaurants before I commit to staying / eating at those places. I dropped the ball well and truly when I booked here. To justify my lack of consistency it was an unplanned trip to Coffs with a matter of urgency. I had packed lightly with my usual basics as I’ve stayed at many Ibis properties (but never a Budget) thinking most things I required would be provided. Firstly on entering there was a distinct smell of dog odour. Even though they have a “no pet policy” the property allows people to smuggle an animal in without being detected. Coffee, tea, milk etc provided but no spoon. A bath mat is provided in the bathroom but with a flat floor between the shower and remaining area this is pointless as the bath mat is soaked within minutes with a flimsy shower curtain being defeated. No hair dryer being provided and to be fair in this minuscule bathroom where could they store it as there is no vanity unit. Never mind thinks me I’ll phone reception to see if I could collect a hair dryer ! Hang on, no telephone. Never mind I’ll go down to reception to enquire but no one on reception. We noticed 2 vending machines in the foyer when checking in. Feeling snackish we later went down to buy some snacks. I’m informed by the very pleasant receptionist that the machines only take coins with no offer of a solution. We have a good sense of humour and this stay provided some laughs with a story to tell friends and family that a place such as this actually exists. On a positive note the staff were very pleasant and there was ample parking.

Objet : Retour sur notre séjour à l’hôtel Bonjour, Je vous écris afin de vous faire part de notre expérience lors de notre récent séjour dans votre établissement, qui a malheureusement été décevante à plusieurs égards. Voici les points qui nous ont particulièrement dérangés : 1. Propreté des chambres : La chambre que nous avons occupée était manifestement sale et ne respectait pas les standards attendus. 2. Petit-déjeuner : • Le micro-ondes était sale. • Les tables n’étaient pas nettoyées entre les utilisations. • Les normes d’hygiène alimentaire semblaient insuffisamment respectées. • produits périmés Munphim Blueburry - chocolat depuis septembre 2024 ( nous sommes en décembre 24) 3. Accueil : L’employée présente ( corpulence assez ronde ) ce jour-là s’est montrée peu aimable, voir désagréable , ne montrer aucune envie ce qui a contribué à une expérience globale peu agréable. 4. Au Check out nous avons croisé une femme de chambre blonde qui était très aimable. 5. Pas reçu mon bon pour une boisson offerte !! 6 . Un mail à été envoyé via mon compte accor . Ces manquements rendent difficile l’envie de revenir séjourner dans votre établissement Accor . Etant membre accor , nous souhaitons que ma demande soit étudiée en recevant une récompense de votre part ! Bruyant, salle de bain avec moisissures, équipement médiocre ! Petite chambre et vieillotte. Vendredi et samedi très bruyant car le PUB d’à côté met de la musique jusque tard le soir.
