The receptionist was helpful. But the room was clean and spacious but with a very bad view on the first floor. The hotel location is very bad with a craked route and so far from the central of Rome. You should make a shuttle bus service to the central of Rome. Finally the gym was terrible no machines and very tight.

Disappointing Location, Decent Stay While the room and service at Novotel were up to standard, the location left much to be desired. The surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe with poor lighting, and public transport options were unreliable. The nearest station, La Ruscita UIM, was closed during my stay, making it nearly impossible to get around without a car. If you’re planning to explore Rome, I highly recommend hiring a vehicle, as public transport near hotel is not dependable. It’s a shame that such a well-run hotel is in such an inconvenient location.

For me, this stay - which I abandoned after one day, preferring to run away from this location  where I was treated by an employee named Erika like a common criminal! - was the horst hideous experience of my life. Since I arrived, I asked at the reception how to get to the city.  The person from the reception told me that there is a train station. When I got there, I noticed that the station was, but the train didn't stop at this station. Practically, if you do not have a car, everyday you have to pay for the taxi rather than for the room.  Of course, this is not the problem of the hotel, but lying to the client that there exists the possibility of going into town by railway station where the train didn't stop (yet) it' horror. Also Erika, whose preparation for working with CLIENT is demonstrably non-existent (perhaps only arrogance and disrespect there are OK!) told me that it was my duty to inquire whether the train stops at this station or not!!!... I suspect that nobody informed you, "the staff", about my total revolt at the way I was treated. Exclusively about the fact that I was given a room (303) in which the lights from the bathroom mirror and the entrance hall did not work. And also that the water in the WC was dysfunctional. YES, member of the staff, it was the obligation of the hotel management (or "staff") to know which facilities are functioning and which rooms have big problems with (at least) common sense and civilization.

Dear Guest, I am very sorry to read your negative feedback and I offer my personal apologies for your inconvenience; However, I would like to clarify some points: The train exists and stops at the La Rustica UIR station located 450 meters from the hotel; The management is by Trenitalia which does not inform us if there are works in progress or disruptions on the Rome Tiburtina - Guidonia line; In your specific case the train did not stop for maintenance on the railway line; You can check on the website www.trenitalia.it; For the problem reported with the non-working light in your room, I personally went up to check and I can assure you that once the magnetic key was inserted in the appropriate pocket the light came on everywhere; For the reported drain problem, I renew my apologies because we clearly had a pressure problem in the system due to a drop in voltage; For us, quality and customer feedback are fundamental and certainly help us to improve; I thank you and send you my best regards Sergio Mobilia - general manager

I was with my family for 1 day (in transit) at the end of August 2024 (I made the reservation through Expedia Rapid). The hotel it was quite old/dusty, the room was clean, the breakfast was quite thin, for example there were no vegetables (the common fresh tomatoes/cucumbers were missing). The hotel management is very poor. A week before my stay, I wrote to them (sent them an email) asking them to help me, to reserve a parking space for me. It was the only hotel (out of 4 used by me during that stay) that did not answer me... I arrived at the hotel, checked-in in the evening, the people at the reception didn't mention to me that the hotel also has indoor parking and that the outside parking lot may be less safe, I left the car in the outside parking lot of the hotel overnight... and in the morning I found it broken... I did my duty and reported the destruction to the Police, and from the hotel representatives I received an apology... :) They have poor management (I use the Novotel brand in Romania, and the units in Romania are top), obviously they can do more for their tourists, obviously it is not enough just to put a sign in the parking lot mentioning that the parking lot is public and that they are not responsible for the destruction caused by thieves...

Dear Guest, I have read your review with the utmost attention and I understand your disappointment for what happened; I inform you that, unfortunately, in August you did not receive a response to your email simply because you used an email address of the accounting office closed for holidays instead of using the generic email address or the email address of the reservations office. I am truly sorry for what happened but as reported on the website the hotel offers a tele-guarded underground garage or alternatively we have public outdoor parking. We needed a place to stay for two nights, befor we could get into our rental in Rome. As a member of the Accorhotels bonusclub, I always look at the app, to see if Accor has something to offer. And as we are a family with two kids, and Rome is pretty hot in the summer, i first looked at hotels with pool... And let there be no doubt! The pool is the main attraction to this hotel. The room, hallway, lift etc was far away from, what one would expect from a Novotel 4 star hotel. We had breakfast both days, and the staff was very kind and quickly, restocked every thing, good quality of the food - but there was a lack q fresh fruit or vegetables. We ate at the restaurant at dinner and lunch, and it was ok, but again it is a Novotel! When you want to pay for dinner/lunch, you have to go in to the bar, and wait for someone to come, and make you bill, and this particurlar weekend, it took around 15 minutes, because it is the same staff, who are serving guest in the restaurant. ... All the staff we talked with or saw, during our stay, was very friendly and tried their bestnto help us, unfortunately it seems that management, have not given them the best tools to work with. The loacation is a bit off, but there is only a few minues walk to the train, that goes into Rome or 10 minutes walk, up to a small Village, with a grocery store and a pizzaria. Next time i go to Rome, in the summer time i would consider a stay here again. But it would be nice, if the management would support their staff and also upgrade the hotel to a 4 star hotel.
