Hotel about 40 minute walk from La Defense - not situated IN La Defense. Rooms very small and dirty. Stains on curtains. Stains on bed. Hairs left in bathroom. Air con no use. Windows opened bizarrely wide enough for you to climb out.. quiet area.

About à 15 minute walk from La Défense, although well connected by bus to the rest of Paris also. Good value stay for three nights. Up to usual Ibis standard, clean, comfortable, practical. Helpful staff. Nice ti stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but still be well connected

The hotel is located 20 mins walk from closest Metro, although we did discover a closer train station for the L line at Courbevoie, which was useful. Its a quiet, mostly residential area, out of the city's madness! Such a friendly welcome from reception, and the area was clean and bright The room is relatively small, which I expected, the shower room is on the small side too and the door didnt close. But both were clean, there was a tv and small clothes hanging area. It couldve done with a room safe, and theres also no tea/coffee making materials but I already knew this so brought my own. Theres soap and shower gel, nothing else so bring your own. Breakfast was great! Nicest scrambled egg I've seen at a hotel buffet, its usuall dry. Nice selection on bread and pastries too. No toaster that I could see. It was an expensive stay due to it being Olympic time, but its a reasonably priced usually. Be aware of the walking required to get into Paris (there are bus stops closer, but we were happy to walk). Courbevoie istelf has everything you need, restaurants,shops etc, lovely Japanese restaurant close by. All in all a good stay

There were bed bugs... they accused me of bringing them in on my suitcase which sorry but I'd only arrived that day, directly from the airport and I think the commune of bed bugs was well established ... bien etabli! They did move my room but as above accused me of having brought them in. I really didn't sleep for the rest of the trip except with a scarf wrapped around my face and a raincoat on! It's not acceptable for such a huge chain to have bed bugs and my case should have been investigated immediately (I got the feeling it wouldn't be). Cleanliness was really so-so and I know they would have been spotted if cleanliness was up to scratch. I, like the other person who experienced this, was also terrified I might have brought them back with me. Des punaises de lit vivent ici! Evitez ici si vous voulez les eviter.

Room was small but acceptable for the price. A 15min walk from Esplanade de la Defence metro, located in a quiet neighbourhood with a few schools nearby. The toilet had a bad smell but the staff sorted it out after we complained. Basically what you would expect from a budget hotel.
