Great hotel for an early flight

This is the perfect hotel for an early morning flight. Although it is not directly connected to the airport, it is only about a 100-meter walk across a pedestrian walkway to the airport doors. You'll pay more to stay here, but it is so worth it. The hotel offers several dining options and a full bar, as well as a pool, sauna, and gym. The rooms are spacious, very clean, nicely appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. I personally enjoyed having a nice bathtub to relax in after a long travel day. Most importantly, the rooms are quiet! Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and accommodating.

What Executive lounge?? Awkward, quiet and nothing executive about lack of refreshments or bad service.

Dining at Jenny’s was fantastic! Incredible experience, service and food! Our executive suite was nice and clean. The location is very convenient. We are at the tail end of our honeymoon. Last night in Athens before heading home. We paid extra for an executive suite and then added the “Executive Lounge” for the refreshments, food and happy hour in the evening…sadly we realized it isn’t worth it whatsoever, not a cent. Not enough wine glasses for the 10 regretful people in the small, awkwardly quiet (no music or tv) room the lounge is located in. The young woman attendant is rarely seen. When we asked her for a wine glass, she informed us they were out. We watched her put back a wine bottle with a 1/4 inch of wine in it and not bring anything back. We called the manager after awhile of waiting. Another couple went to the receptionist. The manager was helpful, responsive and professional. After speaking with him, she seems to be doing her job…still waiting on wine glasses.

Very Nice Hotel Walking Distance to Athens Airport Check-In

Easy access to the airport check-in if you have an early departure. Exit the hotel, cross the road, go up one flight, cross over another road to the check-in desks. Small fitness area (3 fitness machines, weights) on the top floor with a view of their pool. Very quiet. Friendly efficient staff.

This hotel only cares about overcharging. Service and customer satisfaction are a distant second. A disastrous meal in the ground floor casual dining venue set the tone. The food was over salted and drenched in sauce. Service was glacial. No one bothered to ask how the meal was- the only interaction was to suggest more of the distinctly sub standard wine. A request for bath salts- advertised as complimentary- was not fulfilled. The bar was noisy- not with a buzz of conversation but over amplified ‘ background’music. It’s a crying shame because the rooms are well furnished and the location excellent. But for Sofitel prices this is deeply disappointing. It is better to stay at the Holiday Inn some 4 km away. One star is the minimum allowed here- minus 3 stars is more appropriate. Avoid .
