The hotel is fine for what you pay for… the bed was quite comfy and had the basic things e.g. en-suite, TV and hair dryer. However, everywhere just felt dirty and old fashioned. Breakfast was extremely disappointing and overpriced for what was on offer. Would recommend not paying for the breakfast as there is a McDonald’s and Morrisons very close by. Furthermore, although most members of staff were friendly, others we felt just couldn’t be bothered and were quite rude. Overall, the hotel is fine for 1 night if you’re not in it much and go elsewhere for food.

Stayed here 12th April as we were at an ice hockey weekend event in Sheffield. Excellent price and only a 10 minute drive away. Check in was easy, very welcoming, room had everything required and was very clean. Morrisons next door, even the petrol was cheap which was a bonus. Just an all round good stay. I'd happily stay here again.

Absolutely Disgusting hotel Staff members, very very rude! Rooms are disgusting, but just can’t get over how very very very rude staff are there. Needs to be sorted and that women that wouldn’t give me her name needs to be fired! I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE even if there was no where else to stay.

Very good experience - spent one night with family for a local "do" -. very clean, quiet bedroom. Reception staff exceptional - especially Carole (I think) manager. All staff very welcoming and friendly - couldn't do enough for us, Didn't have breakfast but it looked very nice Reception toilets absolutely spotless

Never met a ruder and more offensive maintenance man in all my stays at the IBIS chain, stomping around swaring under his breath obviously having a bad day won't be stopping again the homeless man and girlfriend sat on the pavement begging near the car park Entrance did not help either.
