The mattress has a separate topper. The topper is the only part that has a sheet fitted. It’s an obvious strategy to save money to change the topper not the mattress when it comes of age. Because of this, the mattress is rock hard and I had two nights of appalling sleep. The quilt cover only covered 80% of the quilt with the remaining hanging out the end. The pillows were lumpy and either ultra soft or ultra hard. The hotel allows dogs which were heard when barking. The guests also congregate outside the main entrance to smoke. I was woken at 11pm to the sound of people talking at the main entrance and this didn’t subside until around midnight. The curtains didn’t fit the window so you either had a gap where they’re supposed to meet or a gap to the sides. Either way, light broke in to the room at sunrise. The toilet doesn’t evacuate all of the waste so I had to fill the bathroom bin with water to force the water over the back of the U bend. The liquid soap in the bathroom was empty so had to use the soap in the shower. The shower temperature is warm…. Don’t expect a hot shower. The menu for the evening meal is very limited and it’s prepared by the reception staff. The main meal wasn’t very hot and the dessert was bizarre….i ordered carrot cake which was served stale, covered in strawberry sauce and ice cream. I didn’t entertain breakfast at all and I went out for dinner on the second night. A colleague shared their concern that I’d booked ibis but I soldiered on believing it can’t be that bad….i wish I’d listened!

Fantastic staff always willing to help and go the extra mile. It's clean not far from cardiff has great facilities. Easy parking not far from the motorway and the management are really helpful for getting back my lost acor points. And the room itself is very clean and comfortable.

Zweckmässig eingerichtetes Hitel mit freundlichem Personal. Das geräumige Zimmer ist spartanisch eingerichtet. Die Möbel sind sichtbar abgenutzt und die Betten stehen im Wortsinne auf wackeligen Füssen. Die Aufebthaltsqualität ist als gering zu bezeichnen (Keine Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen z.B. in einem Biergarten). Um nach Cardiff zi gelangen muss ma etwa 20 Minuten Fahrt einplanen und vor Ort ein Parkhaus suchen. (kostet für 3 Stunden etwa 15 Pfund). Wer nicht selber fahreb will, kann einen Fahrdienst wie z.B. BOLT abwöhlen. Einfache Fahrt kostet hier zwischen 16 und 30 Pfund. Das Hotel ist eher für LKW-Fahrer oder Durchreisende für eine Nacht empfehlenswert. Für uns war es die einzige Option, da alle anderen Hotels und B&B der Umgebung wegen eines Taylor Swift Concerts komplett ausgebucht waren.

l'hôtel m'a dénoncé aux autorités, suite à une erreur de leur faute, d'enregistrement de stationnement sur le parking de l'hôtel, de mon véhicule de location. J'ai due avoir à payer des frais de dénonciation de mon loueur, qui n'ont pas été remboursés à ce jour

Por un precio ajustado tienes una habitación espaciosa y con lo necesario para descansar, sin lujos ni tampoco carencias importantes. El servicio en general es mejorable, igual que la limpieza, pero por ese precio no se puede pedir mucho más.
