Biggest complaint was regarding breakfast and check in. Breakfast was poor. Novotel breakfasts are generally worth their price tag. I left the breakfast room still hungry. There was limited choice for vegetarians and none of the hot dishes were labeled as suitable for vegetarian people. There was a small salad selection, no beans or pulses for protein and no cheese. As a result there was limited choices to get a balanced breakfast. Very very disappointing and not worth the additional cost. Secondly I only realized that upon arrival the executive lounge was closed. As such I went to the square restaurant instead. The food there was served cold. Again was not labeled as suitable for vegetarians and most contained some kind of meat. Finally the check in experience was not good. I prechecked in filling in all of the information days ahead and still was bothered to fill in another three forms upon arrival. These forms could have been pre filled in and just require my signature. As I normally stay at this hotel this is the first time I have had this problem checking in

got upgraded to a suite with fantastic view over the Legendale hotel. the lounge is perfect for seeing half of the city. staff very nice especially blair Xu. the food during the happy hour was very nice as well

Good location, easily reached by subway. Only minutes away from major attractions. Lots of eateries around. Hotel is good, comfortable room but a little dated. Club lounge is good. Staff pleasant and helpful. Wonderful stay.

Location was good. I asked for assistance several times on the shower water temperature. It was extreme hot and sudden extreme cold water and returned to hot again for several times. It was never managed in the Middle Temperature. I requested for Technician on the first day, it was sent to me but he did not even check on the thermostat which I told him could be the problem but instead he only verbally tell me to turned the tap to the max of the hot side and let it run like 10mins. I think its really not environment friendly. Wasting water. He did not even bother to check the thermostat even I suggested to him. For 5 days I stayed, I just accepted it. My girl was slightly burn on her head while washing her hair and no one dare to stand under the shower at all while bathing. Second was the Tour Desk or concierge service, a lady took my Request for my SUV Car to take me to the airport at 1pm on 24 Dec paid her RMB350. At 1pm, to my surprised when I approached her for my Transport, she told me she completely forgotten about it. Immediate she called for it and it only arrived 130pm. My flight is 430pm and it was very rush as the journey is far with some traffic holdback. How could this happened when I paid for the service and I booked it through her on the very same day in the morning at about 9am. I always stayed here each time I visit Beijing but I think this will be my very last. The last time was 2 years ago, I was not so satisfied as well. No response from the Hotel or Accor and in 2019 another disappointment. Even in such cold weather when I stepped outside the hotel door, there was a Bell boy standing there do not even bother to asked if we need a Taxi. I have to walked out to the street in such Cold weather to hail a Taxi myself. Unlike Pullman in Shanghai, the moment my feet set out at the door, the bell boy will jump and asked if I required a Taxi and called in one for me. Such a difference in behaviour.

Regarding the late arriving SUV car, we have investigated from our 3rd party Travel Agency, and Mr. Shi, the Manager of the Tour Desk will look at its procedure to improve working efficiency. The staff at Novotel Beijing Peace were very helpful in ensuring we were comfortable. Providing us with directions to popular site and giving us recommendations for good food. The staffs, especially Blaire and Alicia were extremely thoughtful indenting for us Breakfast take aways as we had morning train and tours to catch. Thank you ladies!

Excellent friendly customer service, great location for dinning out , shopping and transport. Enjoy Accorplus membership. Low level Rooms may need renovation. Great food for breakfast may need to add some soy products.

Our property has actually begun early last year some enhancements of its public areas (Still on-going) and also some renovation of the second wing – which has been now completed. Main wing is now our main point of focus: therefore All the TVs have been changed as well as all our carpet floors which is nearly replaced on every floors. Also, our Executive Chef has looked at the breakfast soy products and some changes will be conducted to improve guest satisfaction. spend five nights in the hotel, second time since my stay in last february, for five nights too. though the hotel has been constructed about sixty years ago, it is very convenient and the rooms are furnished very comfortable. the lobby is very spacious and looks great. i would recommend to book a room with an access to the lounge (free breakfast and dinner, very rich and tasty). the service is very good, the staff (especially the staff in the lounge) is very friendly and helpful. i got a huge corner-room (upgrade). i want to say „thank you“ to the staff again - and see you the next time.

A short walk from Forbidden City, good shopping mall close by and some really nice small restaurants to enjoy. Hidden gem is the Lounge at the hotel, top floor view to Forbidden City and mountains, great sunsets and very attentive staff. Will visit again.

장점 체크인 : 매너저로 보이는 직원분이 체크인을 도와주었고 매우 친절하셧다. 방 : 전체적으로 오래된 호텔이다 . 낡지만 깔금하게 관리되어 있다. 식사 : 유럽인도 아시아인도 만족할 만한 품질이다. 라운지 : 19층에서 자금성이 보면서 와인을 마셔보자 ! 주변 : 베이징 중심지답게 맛있는 식당이 몰려있다 . 밥 걱정은 하지 말자 단점 1층 카페 : 직원의 태도는 경직되어 있고 커피 또한 맛있다고 생각이 들지 않앗다

일하는 직원들은 모두 친절하였고 음식도 좋았습니다. 다만 욕실 타월은 오래되어 헤져서 구멍이 나있었고 호텔에서 유료로 빌렸던 자전거는 관리가 거의 되고 있지 않았던 것 같습니다.(브레이크를 잡는 것도 뻑뻑했고 핸들 부분은 끈적였으며 자전거를 타다가 손을 슬쩍 보니 기름이 묻은 건지 핸들 고무가 녹이내려 묻은 건지 그것도 아니면 핸들에 묻은 다른 이물질이 묻은 건지 손이 새까매졌습니다.) 사용요금은 하루 렌탈 비용으로 70위안으로만 사용이 가능하였는데 사실 호텔을 통하여 신청하는 대부분의 서비스는 시중의 가격보다 비싸더라도 그만큼의 서비스 질을 기대하기 때문에 기꺼이 그 비용을 지불하는 것이라고 생각합니다. 그러나 해당 자전거 렌탈의 경우 길에 버려진 자전거를 밀려나는 기분이었습니다. 호텔에서 컨시어지를 두고 자전거 렌탈을 계속 하려 한다면 최소한의 관리라도 해주길 부탁합니다.

냉방시설이나 청소 등은 그럭저럭 지낼만 했으나, 방이 2인실로는 매우 협소하였다. 방 가득 더블침대만 있는 구조이며, 침대도 좁아서 불편했다. 좁은 방과 침대때문에 다른 객실(싱글침대)를 요구하였으나, 3박을 머무는 동안 하루라도 변경해주지 못한다고 했다. 물론 객실상황이 여의치 않을 수 있지만, 알아보겠다는 노력이 보이지 않아 고객에 대한 서비스 측면에서 불만족스러웠다. 조식의 경우도 가격대에 비해서 역시 좋은 편이 아니었다. 전반적으로 좋은 점수는 줄 수 없다. 재이용은 고려하지 않을 것 같다.

Poorly maintained hotel with appalling customer service

Where do I start. As an Accor Gold member, I had emailed ahead to find out of a late check-out was possible due to my flight out of China being scheduled later in the day. I was told in very certain terms that I was not eligible to a late checkout. Another email that was sent thereafter was met with a similar response. When it finally came around to the stay itself, the room was dated and the carpet old. These are aspects that I can definitely deal with, having stayed at a range of hotels which also includes the good old Ibis range (which was heaps better than this). However what took the cake was the airconditioning that was functioning extremely poorly (I was told by maintenance that there was nothing wrong with the a/c) and a washroom sink that emanated the essence of a sewage pipe into the room (which I was also told was non-existent). It was not only until my roommate had pointed out that it was coming from the sink, that the maintenance person had a second look, murmured in agreement, ran the tap and left. The only silver lining was the short trip that I had in Beijing which meant that I did not have to suffer for all that long. Will definitely not return.

Also, this is correct there was no issue with the air conditioning system: but I understand you wanted to have it cooler than what it could be adjusted. As our valuable Silver Member (Ibis golden for Ibis hotels), you are eligible to late check out till 5pm on Weekends (Your departure was on Monday and therefore not included). Also, this is always based on hotel’ availabilities. Our Front Desk receptionist did their very best to extend you a room upgrade (As you requested in your email) from Superior Room to Deluxe room – even if Silver Member are not eligible to it. Very well located close to the center and the metro. The staff is very nice. The booking desk at the entry is really helpful. The hotel is clean and then the rooms. The breakfeast is really good, with a range of dishes, chinese and western.

리뷰 상에는 새로 리모델링하여 예약하였지만 생각보다 많이 낡은 호텔이었습니다. 먼저 처음 받은 방은 담배 냄새가 너무 심하여 다른 방으로 교체하였으나, 그 방 또한 특유의 냄새로 머무는 내내 쾌적한 느낌은 받지 못하였습니다. 또한, 배스텁의 하수 시스템이 망가졌는지 샤워 하는 내내 발 밑에 물이 차올라서 위생적이지 못하였습니다. 호텔 측에도 이에 관해 문의를 드렸으나 나아진 것이 없었습니다. 전반적인 서비스는 마음에 들어으나 호텔 방에 대한 관리는 좀 더 필요할 것 같습니다.

갑작스럽고 당황스럽게 숙박 보증금을 호텔 측에서 요구했습니다. 신용카드로 보증금을 결재하라고 하였습니다. 웹사이트에서 숙박 예약시 보증금에 대한 사전 동의가 없었습니다. 호텔에 도착하자 마자 숙박 예약시 매우 당황스러웠습니다. 호텔측에서는 중국의 일반적인 호텔은 보증금이 있다고 하였지만 현재 중국에서 거주중이고, 중국에서 여러호텔을 다녀 보았지만 보증금이 없는 호텔 또한 많았습니다. 이건 어떻게 된 일일까요? 배수구도 막혀있어 샤워 중에 물이 넘쳐 흘렀습니다. 배수구 청소 요구하였지만 다음날에도 마찬가지였습니다. 어쩔 수 없이 배수구 청소를 하면서 더러운 머리카락 뭉치들을 직접 손으로 치워야 했습니다. 호텔에 청소하러 간 듯한 느낌이었습니다. 침구 교체 요구하였지만 침구는 교체 되지 않았습니다.

Although is an old hotel but it maintained quite well, nice and friendly concierge, nice and friend staff at hotel lobby bar when we enjoyed our welcome drink. Room was neat and clean but lack of decorations.

Great location with the Forbidden City within 15 mins walk and so many Malls and restaurants around. Hotel shows signs of aging. Services are good. Especially at Club Floor with great views. Cleaning staff broke my earrings accidentally - poor girl was so afraid. She did a great job cleaning though.

Tall wing remains currently our main point of focus therefore carpets, TVs etc. are being gradually replaced and tasks should be completed by late July. We were very sorry to hear about your broken hearing and our Room Attendant has actually reported this incident.
