The service staff are professional and courteous. The location is excellent, close to attractions, great restaurants, and shops. The room is clean, though the heating system can be a bit loud.

Great service, beautiful hotel, great vues from our bedroom, very practical valet parking. Perfect location to walk to the bean and to the art museum! Will be back!

We stayed at the hotel at the end of November/beginning December 24. Temperatures outside dropped considerably, and so did the temperature in the breakfast room (CDA). It took a couple of days to fix it. Nevertheless we enjoyed a fantastic room and service, and we also took advantage of the good location of the hotel wrt the Magnificient Mile and the city center.

I had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel. The room was clean and beautiful. The room service was tasty and fast. The housekeeping was exceptional. The food at the CDC was decent. Le Bar had a great vibe. The gym was more than adequate although the Pelotons definitely need to be replaced. And I love that Nordstrom Cafe is within walking distance! No mini bars in the rooms? Bummer! Really impeded my ability to midnight snack. Also, too bad the hotel doesn't have have a spa, steam room, or sauna -- I bet they would be exceptional. I definitely recommend the Sofitel Chicago.
