It is a standard mercure hotel. Room are ok and big enough. Breakfat standard but with a very good choise. Big park area vailable for the cars The lonely problem was due to the people that were in the bar (maybe not hotel guest) and that made a lot of noise without think to the hotel guest

The room is very hot! Do not stay there in the summer,even with the windows wide open it did not get any relief. Room did not get cleaned,not sure if I needed to post the sign on the door. I thought they would always clean it regardless. The soap in shower ran out and I had to ask for more at the reception desk. I asked for body lotion 2 times, non available. Bathroom very small and no bath tub. TV is on the small side and none of the American channels like National Geographic.... I would definitely not stay here again. They advertise as a 4 star, it really is not.

So I'll start with the room- I stayed in a really nice room/suite sort of thing ( it said privilege by the door) and out of all the hotels I've ever stayed at it's definitely the best! The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was so clean and big! Most of the staff were so helpful and welcoming - however, there was a male staff on reception who could've done more to help but didn't especially since we were desperate - but I won't go into that... I'm extremely impressed with the restaurant part - I recommend the 'Mercure Burger' and the breakfast was lovely. There is an Aldi not too far down the road which is nice to grab some drinks at as only tea and coffee are provided in with the room without extra charge/room service. Although coming from England it was hard to find without a taxi service - so bare this in mind if you don't want to keep buying taxis'.

It was really my pleasure to stay at this hotel - Hotel Hagen. beautiful stuffed, well managed, excellent service, easy to get there, good Restaurants and Shoppings around. So, take your Chance and join this nice hotel!

Lack of air conditioning

The only inconvenient for me it was the lack of air conditioning. The high temperature in Hagen was unbearable. The breakfast was great, easy to walk around the hotel, next to the city center and the staff are very kind.
