It's an Ibis Budget. So really not the greatest.

This hotel didn't feel super central. It was a 15 euro taxi ride from the train station. The bed was really not great, nor were the pillows. The air-con rattled; but at least there was air-con. The bathroom was mostly clean apart from hairs in the drain. There is a pool, which is pretty rare for such a cheap hotel, but I didn't get to try it out. The breakfast gets bad reviews, so we went to the nearest bakery - a five minute walk away - and their pastries and black coffees were very good. Note that if you book this on the Accor website, you still don't get Accor points and they didn't say this clearly during the booking process. Pity.

I know that many Ibis hotels were upgraded from 2 stars to 3 stars. Some of them deserve the upgrade, this one NOT! The hotel is quite old and on a very busy and noisy road. The rooms are really small, the furniture is old and minimalist. There is not even a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee when you wake up. On the plus side, there is a small swimming pool which is very appreciated after a hot late summer day.

Do go if you’re looking for a friendly note service at front desk. Not if you have twin babies.

Horrible front desk lady with reservation turned us away because we have twins less than one years old that they do not except to sleep in the same room they have to sleep in separate rooms according to them. Unbelievable. Never see before for babies. Not only but was turned away rudely no sympathy at all. Gave an ibis a try (maybe just Hyeres) and realise the reputation stands as it is.. negative.

The swimming pool water was green!

Low cost, low quality hotel. I would suggeat booking this hotel only if your budget doesn't allow you to afford anything else. The only plus side could have been the presence of a swimming pool, but the water was green when we were there (see photos).

I stayed here in April 2018 for five nights. The reception is friendly, that includes all staff. The room was small but sufficient for myself. It did have a bunk bed but 3 in the room would be a squeeze. The breakfast was very basic, and for me serving tea and coffee in plastic/paper cups is a no no! They had ceramic cups which I insisted on (nicely) because I detest the pollution of plastic cups. Our seas are already full. So IBIS please take note! Get a dishwasher and serve coffee in proper cups!
