I visited friends which live in a small village close to Leipzig, but without any hotel too close. Thus I opted for this hotel which is really sitting at the edge of town, thus one can avoid traffic into town pretty easily, very close to the Autobahn too.

The staff were very nice. But the shower would make the toilet wet no matter how you angled it. The room was cold most of the time although heating was set to make it warm. I woke up freezing every morning
