Hard to complain when it’s so cheap

It’s hard to complain about a hotel that’s so cheap! £34 for a room with a shower is pretty good. We had 2 doubles with showers. One room was fine, clean, decent bedding, shower was nice etc the other was again cleanish, however my husband found half a pill on the side and many (what looked like) boogies stuck to the wall! Less than pleasant but, it’s budget! The main issue we had was getting in when we arrived at 1 am. We hadn’t received booking confirmation, only an email saying yes you’re booked, so we had no reservation number to book in automatically on arrival. This ended up being a 30 minute stressful situation trying to wake the staff at the hotel. Breakfast was decent and cheap, coffee was good. The noice at night from other guests particularly a dog was a bit frustrating and slamming of doors. The bed was also very hard. (Personal preference for a softer one maybe!) Overall it’s too cheap to score it badly. It was a bed when we needed one

Fine for a budget option close to the Shuttle terminal, if you're going to arrive late and depart early. Rooms are small but the bed was comfortable and the tiny bathroom was clean. Small, self-service breakfast included fresh bread, croissants, brioche and machine coffee and was perfectly acceptable for the modest extra charge.

We booked room in calais france when we get in the Room The was super small and smelling badly we changed the mind not to stay we left and ask for refund but the whole system, administration is so corrupt they care about customer. They do not respond properly and also not refunding I would never recommend anyone to visit this Third class hotel with third class service 🙃

The room (133) was clean enough, however it was not very secure. The room is on the ground floor, with the window opening onto the car park. However, there was no stop on the window if it was open, meaning it could easily be pushed open and broken into. On a hot evening this meant a very uncomfortable stay. In addition, there were dogs barking in the building causing a disturbance. Not likely to choose F1 again because of this experience.

Secure and clean. Basic small hotel room as expected, clean and quiet. Felt very safe, enclosed car park with pin entry needed. Basic breakfast but plenty of it. We chose a room with shower and toilet, shower was very good, smallest towels I’ve come across but did the job!
