Look. Overall okay. The view is AMAZING! If they could only follow up with the all the rest you would expect from such a hotel! Upon check in, no one is there to assist with bags welcome you or open a door! Check In Was okay but long. Rooms are clean and as I mentioned we had a fabulous view overlooking San Sebastián. Coffee machine yes - But no kettle even to make a cup of tea?? (Normal practice any hotel) Staff are all very unresponsive and some even rude. A bar that has no Campari or Baileys??? Really!!! What the?? Basic items. The hotel is a distance from town but we actually liked that. Really depends what you want - we were happy to be away from the middle of town and venture in by taxi or funicular when we wanted too. Overall okay but would I stay here again ??? Yeah probably not!

Not the best location in San Seb. Taxi/Uber or go down the funicular and walk or bus into town. Restaurant was okay though the breakfasts were great. Beds bathrooms and rooms fine though dated and need a refresh. Definitely won’t stay. Here next time as so many better options in the CBD

This hotel is on a hill overlooking the city, not convenient for visiting San Sebastian. There is nothing nearby (walking distance). You will need a car or a taxi for everything. The view is fantastic. The rooms are large enough and well appointed. However, service is very poor. Staff make it a point of ignoring guests. There does not seem to be any supervision. Would not stay there again

This was my third stay here and the view of La Concha Bay does not disappoint. It’s absolutely breathtaking. It must be one of the best views in the world. The hotel ticks all the boxes with a basic breakfast and has a fantastic fun fair next to it which is great fun for all ages. A funicular is available which takes you down to the bay. Some more fun. If you want somewhere to stay for a reasonable price and close to the food in San Sebastián this is a must.

Bad Smell in Bathroom

I checked in to the hotel yesterday as a platinum Accor member. We were out for the day and on returning noticed a bad smell in the bathroom, which I gleaned was coming from the wash handbasin. This morning it was so putrid that I advised reception. We went out for the day only to return to the same disgusting smell rising up from the sink. I spoke with another receptionist and waited in the lobby. I was told 20 minutes later that a product had been poured down the sink. It is clear something was poured down so I returned to reception to advise that I would leave it for a while to see if it resolved the problem and if not I would be checking out and looking for a refund as I had prepaid for 3 more nights and there are no other rooms available. The very rude receptionist told me I would get no refund and that I should have told them about the smell yesterday. Unbelievable! No apology and a smart alec attitude when the hotel should not be selling a room with this sort of problem. How dare she expect guests to stay in rooms where a nauseating smell is wafting from the bathroom. Also, breakfast is not good. Cold eggs and poor choice. Air con not working as apparently it’s a central system on “winter mode”. Food was nice in the restaurant yesterday and the staff in there, at the pool and in the bar are pleasant. That’s all I can say in favour of the hotel. It’s not good. Don’t stay here!
