Conventional Ibis hotel, easily accessibe

This is a small, easily accessible hotel, currently under refurbishment. The bathroom indeed needs some renovation (its door does not close). The personel is kind. Room well isolated from the nearby high speed road. Classical breakfast (maybe the choice could be larger).

Hotel internet works OK with portable phones, but appears to be incompatible with at least some PCs

I was unable to logon to the hotel's wifi with my computer. There was no problem when using my phone, but when I tried to logon with my PC, the hoel's network name failed to appear in the network list. The network names of other surrounding establishments in the ares were visible but the network ID of the hotel was not. The problem remained uncorrected during the 4 days of my stay. I have stayed at this hotel in the past without this problem. I have stayed at other Accor hotels before and after this visit without any problem. The Windows Network Troubleshooter gave me an incoherrent reason for the problem and was unable to resolve it. The rooms are exactly what you would expect from a Red Ibis. The staff were concerned about my internet problem, but were unable to help This hotel does have a restaurnt with a limited menu. They do not have their own chef. They buy the meals in frozen packets from a specialised restaurant service company. These packets are microwaved to the customer's order. This type of cooking does produce surprisingly good results. The hotel has its own free parking area. Access from the N12 is a little bit tricky. After you leave the N12, you have do do a U turn at the first roundabout, then follow the road to the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel which is well placed and convenient for St Brieuc and surrounding area. Near main road but in a quiet area so no road noise. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Nice handy hotel on route to roscoff no a/c in bedroom made it hard to sleep . Otherwise grand value for money. Food at breakfast grand and tasty . Plenty of parking staff friendly and courteous. Will return

The last time I stayed here was 2 years ago. At that time their only English TV channel was not working. I can now say that on my January 2019 visit, this channel was working, but not especially well. The picture had a tendency to break up at times. They fail to provide the usual "DO NOT DISTURB" hangers to hang on your door, if you are sleeping late and do not want to be bothered by the chambermaid. Nothing else appears to have changed since my last visit. The WiFi works OK, the rooms are well maintained; there is just about enough wardrobe space; there is ample desk space and conveniently placed power sockets. The rooms are cramped but OK for single use and/or short stays. The bathroom is deficient on shelf space. They have a restaurant, which serves food which has been pre-prepared and frozen, then micro-waved to order. The result is perfectly satisfactory. Some of the smaller dishes are available 24/7. This might also apply to the entire menu but I am not certain about this. One good plus, if you like eating at Courtpaille, is that this hotel provide coupons which get you 20% discount at either of 2 local Courtpaille restaurants. If you are not familiar with Courtpaille, these restaurants are always in cone shaped purpose built buldings. Their emphasis is on grilled meat, and prices are moderate (especially with -20%). This Ibis is therefore a good medium-low cost option, if you can tolerate the restricted space. I do NOT recommend this hotel for couples, unless you are sharing a single suitcase.
