Very large bedroom in a usefully central Perth location with good breakfast and a helpful and pleasant reception for a 4 night stay. Would happily stay here again. Yes, as other reviews, the hotel is a little tired so easy to find fault with aspects of decor if you want to but really these are minor and the hotel works well and is good value. I see that it is used by airline crews too.

An above-average hotel located close to Perth railway station and Barrack St ferry wharf. Plenty of things to see within walking distance: Perth Mint, St Georges Cathedral, and Bell Tower, to name a few. The rooms are spacious with a table and chairs. Breakfast is available downstairs at the Cafe on Hay. An ideal hotel for those on the move in Perth.

Nice but has room for improvement.

The room was spacious but no outside access. Couldn't even open a window. The fridge was working but the door did not seal so everything came out full of water/condensation. The electric jug was 'plug in' so had to be unplugged to refill. When the desk chair was moved, a panel fell away from the wall under he desk/bench. The shower was over the bath, so getting in and out was tricky. Our room was serviced daily but the tea and coffee wasn't topped up. I didn't use the rooftop pool but it looked inviting. The laundry was adequate. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of cereals, cold meats and hot food available. I was there for 10 nights.

I’m a Accor member so I’m comparing this with other Accor properties we’ve stayed in over the last 2 weeks. There are good and bad points. The good. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and sustaining. We were upgraded to a suite which was a surprise. The bad. We ordered 2 early gluten free breakfasts for Saturday & Sunday but they delivered gluten breakfasts which made me very ill. Not happy. We ordered fillet steaks in the restaurant and they delivered steaks which were DEFINITELY NOT fillet. We spoke to the chief and he didn’t know. The Suite needs some tender loving care. The aircon wasn’t working and when we asked for it to be fixed the answer was sorry,it’s a weekend and can’t get it fixed and it’s a problem all over the hotel. As a former maintenance engineer this is appalling, you always have after hours maintenance. This shows a lack of management planning.

Dump. Air conditioning doesn’t work. It’s 26c in the room. You complain to reception and all you get is oh me so sorry, yes we know of this and many people have the same issue. We can do nothing about this. Please open the window as it is 25c outside.
