Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay at Mercure Paris La Défense. First and foremost, we want to sincerely apologize for the upsetting experience your colleague had when entering a room that was already occupied. This was caused by an unfortunate IT glitch, and we fully understand how distressing and unacceptable this situation was. Please rest assured that we are actively working to identify and resolve such issues promptly to ensure this does not happen again. We want to emphasize that at no point did we question the presence of the other guest in the room. We have the utmost respect for all our guests, and their comfort and satisfaction remain our top priority. We also understand that the complimentary drinks offered as compensation did not fully meet expectations, especially since the bar restricted the option to redeem a pint of beer. We are truly sorry for this limitation and have shared your feedback with the bar team to improve the customer experience. Regarding your room assignment, we allocated the room type you had originally booked. However, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the sink not draining properly. Your comments have been passed on to our maintenance team to ensure this is addressed without delay. Please know that your feedback is very important to us. It helps us learn and improve, and we genuinely regret the discomfort these issues have caused during your stay. We are truly sorry to read that your room did not meet your expectations and we would like to extend our sincere apologies for the disappointment you experienced. We have taken note of your comment regarding stains on the carpet. Despite regular deep cleaning with specialized equipment, some marks unfortunately remain, and it does take time before we can fully replace the carpets in all rooms. Please rest assured that this is a matter we are gradually addressing. We also understand your dissatisfaction about the pillowcases missing from the additional pillows in the closet. This is certainly not our standard, and we apologize for this isolated oversight. Regarding the outlets and the room size, we understand these aspects may not have matched your personal preferences. Our rooms follow a specific standard and layout, but your feedback helps us better understand guest expectations. We regret if you felt that your concerns were not properly addressed during your stay. Our team strives to assist all our guests with care and professionalism, and we’re sorry if that did not come across. Dear Sir, First of all, please allow us to renew our sincerest apologies for the delay and any inconvenience caused. Following your message sent on May 1st, we immediately took action and responded by email, providing you with a secure payment link to process the refund of the €180 deposit. This link has now been sent twice, but we are still waiting for you to insert your banking details so that the refund can be finalized. We understand your frustration, and we assure you that our only intention is to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.
