ibis Dijon Gare 3 stars

This was the second time in the hotel in Dijon. A month ago i asked if we could get two adjecent rooms so we could use the connecting doors. This was confirmed by the staff, we would get two rooms next to eachother. But when we checked in that wasn't possible anymore, all the rooms were already booked and there was no possibility anymore for connecting rooms. So, I'm not happy about that. Next year I'll probably look for a different hotel.

We walked to the city centre so much to see

We’ve now stayed in this Ibis 5 times. It’s perfect located for us as an overnight stop when we’re driving from Calais to the south of France. It’s got great free parking and is a short walk from the centre of Dijon with a wide choice of restaurants. The hotel itself is really good, with friendly and helpful staff and spotless rooms.

Minimum service and hotel overheated which is particularly chocking in the current energy tough context most of the countries encounter, and in the context of the climate change... Most of the hotel team members were in tee-shirt, when it was 1 degree max outside... I had to sleep with the window open - with no heating in my room - because the heating of the corridor and shared areas was tremendous... This is not acceptable. Until you don't change your way to manage your hotel with a better energy policy, I won't come back to your place.

We stayed here for one night on our way to a ski holiday in the Alps. The hotel was just a 10-15 min walk from sights and restaurants so that we could stretch our legs after sitting in the car for hours. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were comfortable.
