Radboud University and Radboud UMC are 10 minutes from the hotel (by car). The surroundings of Nijmegen are ideal for wonderful cycling or walking tours in the Ooypolder, the Betuwe or the Reichswald. The bustling city offers great shopping and many pubs for a cozy night out. Poppodium Doornroosje is a 4-minute walk away. Or visit one of Nijmegen's many beautiful museums: muZIEum or the Valkhof Museum.

We had a lovely one night stay at the hotel. Check-in was easy and our room was ready a bit early. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was very clean and we were delighted to see an anniversary surprise - we will remember that the most! Breakfast was good and worth the €22 per person. There was a lot to choose from and included some hot items. The hotel is located beside the train station but we didn't hear anything at all from there. It is a short (about 10 mins) walk to the centrum. Having parking at the hotel is great but the lot was almost full when we arrived, only two spots left. It would have been disappointing if there hadn't been any spots available as we purposely booked a hotel that had on-site parking. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here recently and were very pleased overall. The location is excellent if you're arriving by train or bus, as both stations are very close by. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to the city centre, which was convenient for us. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that early check-in comes with an extra charge, even if the room is already ready. While this seems to be common practice these days, we did find it a bit disappointing. Still, we went ahead with it because we were quite tired from travelling. The room itself was clean and well-sized, and the bathroom was also more spacious than expected, which we appreciated. Even though the hotel is near the train station, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t hear any noise from outside. It was very quiet throughout our stay, which made it easy to relax. Our room looked out over the bike parking area—not the most scenic view, but understandable given the location. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice for a short stay. It's convenient, comfortable, and well-suited for travellers looking to be close to public transport.

Spend 8 nights at theMercure hotel Nijmegen the crew were kind and professional, the breakfast is very rich selections. The bar tenders are friendly. I didn’t try the hotel’s restaurant, I preferred to take 10 minutes walk to the restaurants area. The hotel have a little fitness room equipped with cycling trainer, elliptical and a sauna which is very nice to have. I was a little disappointed that the hotel didn’t have an ”Happy Hour” like I was used to in all previous hotels which I stayed in at my business trips. The hotel is located in an excellent location

Once again, Mercure Hotel provided an excellent two night stay. I arrived very early in the morning, expecting to leave my luggage and return in the afternoon. Jorn B was at the front desk. He not only greeted me with a warm welcome but quickly assured me there was a room available. As with previous stays the room was comfortable with desk and chair and comfortable chair with a small table. They provide a small refrigerator with comlimentary drinks. Coffee machine in the room and also offered in the lobby during the morning. I appreciate their efforts to be wise stewards of the environment. Although this is close to the train station and a busy road the room is quiet. I like looking out at all the poeple riding their bikes. The hotel is a good choice and the attentive, helpful, friendly staff make it special.
