Dear alinesorciere, Thanks a lot for the evaluation of your stay in our hotel and your comments about it. We are really glad to read that you especially appreciated the unique view across Freiburg and the surrounding area, the size of your room as well as the comfort of your bed. We also thank you for your comment about the size of your bathroom. In both room categories we have bathrooms with bathtub or shower. Generally, the bathrooms with bathtub are more spacious than the bathrooms with shower. The outdoor areas of our rooms are not completely separated from each other due to fire protection reasons. A narrow passage as additional escape route in an emergency must be ensured. In summer, in addition to the existing partitions, mediterranean orange trees are placed between the rooms for more privacy of our friends of the house. The Panorama Hotel Mercure Freiburg was built at the beginning of the seventies in its multi-storey elongated way. Over the years,the hotel has been continually modernized and renovated. In 2013, the last "major renovation" took place in several parts of the house. In 2016, the swimming pool area was redesigned and equipped with the most modern swimming pool technology. In 2018 the topic of "fire protection" was implemented according to the latest standards for the best possible safety of our friends of the house. Further measures are being planned. Free parking is available directly at the hotel and along the access road to the hotel. Few parking spaces can be reserved in advance on request and availability. Due to the general booking situation, it may happen that there are no more parking spaces available near the entrance of the hotel. At any time you have the opportunity to park your car short-term in the roundabout at the entrance to load or unload it. We gladly assist you on request with your luggage and to park your car. Dear Daniel Gomes S, Thank you very much for the evaluation of your stay in our hotel! We are really pleased to read that you enjoyed the location of the hotel and the unique view of the city and the surroundings! At the same time we regret that the prices in our restaurant "Chez Eric" did not meet your expectations. In the restaurant "Chez Eric" we serve meditarranean food, fish and seafood specialities. Furthermore we offer different tasting menus as well as seasonal changing plates for the small appetite and regional delicacies to meet many tastes. For our abundant breakfast buffet we allow us to charge € 17,00 . In this price all cold and warm dishes and beverages presented on the buffet are included. Coffee specialities are served directly at the table - they are also included in the price yet. We hope to see you again for another occasion! You are right, the Panorama Hotel Mercure Freiburg is quietly located over the roof tops of Freiburg and the city center can be reached by car within ten minutes.
