Good compromise

We spent one night during a french business trip in this hotel few far away by Angouleme. We had no issue even if we had a very very late check in. Rooms are ok, in typical IBIS standard. This is not a Budget IBIS, so not basic. Breakfast was very good and service as well.

The staff at this hotel were so welcoming and friendly. I think this is the best Ibis I have stayed in Europe, and I have stayed in a few. The staff are so friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel is very quiet, super clean, and great for a stopover. Angouleme is lovely and so are the people.

The whole team has just read your message and you are far from imagining what it pleases us and brings us as motivation to always spend money for our customers. Bed access for handicapped

One side of the bed is against the wall which is not easy to get in and out for older peoples. Otherwise the staff was excellent, rooms clean, good location. breakfast was good and nice staff. No elevator but having been there before, I requested ground floor which was granted.

A nice hotel in a convenient location with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Nice friendly staff. I recommend booking by Accor hotels website to get best rates, particularly if you want breakfast included at a good rate.

Expensive stay for poor quality

The hotel was very tired and shabby. The sign above the doorway was missing. One of the bedside lights was broken and the flooring in the bathroom was not fitted properly and a hazard. The whole place looked like it needed a makeover. This hotel was not a budget one so-dread to think what the budget next door was like!!!!
