I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel, as I had heard great things about the Pullman brand. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The check-in process was smooth, and the hotel’s general areas are very attractive, especially with the beautiful lake view. However, the issues began once we got to our room. When it came time to shower, we discovered that the bathroom was clogged. The bathtub took about 45 minutes to drain, which was extremely inconvenient since there were four of us sharing the room. After the first person showered, my mum attempted to take a bath once the water finally drained, but the tap came off. Because the water was draining so slowly, we panicked that the tub would overflow. I went to the front desk to report the issue, as we were unable to call from the room, only to be told that their system was down and the engineering team had already left for the day. This was very disappointing, as I would expect a hotel to have staff available 24/7 to handle emergencies like this. We were thankfully able to fix the tap ourselves, and a front desk staff member (whose name I did not get) told us someone would come the next morning to check it. However, we checked out at 1:00 p.m., and no one ever came. Another major issue was that the air conditioning in the room was not working, making the room uncomfortably hot. We reported this to the front desk again, but the staff member on duty suggested we “check out” if we wanted to. This was already after midnight, and three out of the four of us were already showered and in bed, so this suggestion was not helpful or realistic. Additionally, the beds were very uncomfortable. For a four-star hotel, I was expecting much better. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay. I am giving a two-star review only because the lobby area was very nice; otherwise, this experience would have deserved just one star.

Frustrating Experience with Hotel Customer Service

I have been other times in this hotel, but this time I really have had bad experiences. I purchased additional materials to use during my stay, I have proof of delivery from UPS, but staff from hotel said they did not receive it. I repeatedly requested formal confirmation of non-delivery—a document required to start the cancellation process—but the hotel failed to provide any official response or acknowledgment. I also encountered difficulties requesting a reimbursement for expenses, as the hotel simply did not send the invoice I needed. They have requested to send by email, but I have never received. Without this documentation, it became impossible to seek in the company I work for. The most frustrating aspect of my experience was being completely ignored by hotel employees. Despite numerous attempts, I could not reach any staff member or receive any kind of message or explanation about the reported issues. This total absence of communication made resolving matters impossible and left me feeling neglected.

One thing I like to mention, not sure if it was just our Room 807 the water pressure in the shower was not good, besides this everything else was superb Service, check in, staff, thank you Pullman Airport Hotel 5/5

The Pullman is always our go to in Miami. Elegant and comfortable, with spacious suites and a beautiful pool area that has a gorgeous sunset view, after our first visit became our favorite. The food from the bar restaurant is very good,and the breakfast buffet in the main dining room is unequal. Affordably priced,would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay for an overnight or a longer stay. They also provide airport transportation and there is a shuttle service that can be booked for a transport to the cruiseport.

Pullman review It’s always interesting when you see a 1 star amongst good reviews, so hopefully this doesn’t get lost. I stayed at the Pullman earlier this month because American Airlines cancelled my flight and put me up there. When we got to the hotel, the shuttle driver asked if I was staying or if I had just parked there. I said I was staying. A few minutes later as I was checking in, he came in and took me aside to tell me I had forgotten his tip. I was really surprised because I didn’t have any change on me and was going to get it from the front desk to leave for him but I wasn’t expecting him to ask for it. Unfortunately this isn’t the only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth. I was on my way home from a pilgrimage trip to a temple outside of Pittsburgh and I had gotten some perishable offerings that needed to be kept refrigerated. Since AA had delayed me for 24 hours, I collected my luggage just so I could make sure this was refrigerated. I explained this to the front desk and asked if the rooms had a refrigerator. The person at the front desk said they did, but they didn’t work too well. I explained my situation and he said he could keep it in the refrigerator they have downstairs. I asked if I could please be frozen instead and he said yes. The next morning while I was checking out, I asked for my package and found it to be room temperature. I asked if it had been put in the freezer and I got a shrug from the person who handed it to me. I explained the situation and how sad I was that this was not communicated to me because I would’ve just put it on ice in my room. Had Evan told that they could not fulfill my request. A woman came out from the back and told me this was completely unacceptable on the part of the staff and that I would be getting a phone call in a couple of hours from the manager. She took my phone number as well as my email down, but I have received nothing and it’s been two weeks. I understand that they cannot guarantee something to be kept cold, but after asking several times I wish they had just told me they could not fulfill my request and I would just put it on ice. Not only that, but I don’t think it’s OK for somebody to follow you into a hotel asking for a tip. Thirdly, if I were Management, I would want to follow up with a customer that is unhappy.
