Nice hotel, good location and services, but since beginning of December they are not able to provide invoice for the stay. I have been asking for this at checkout and send already 5 request via webpage. No feedback at all and also not possible to contact by phone.

First time staying in Hammersmith and I would happily stay here if I come back, We arrived early and luckily our room was available, Room was very nice and shower was excellent.Very nice bar was the icing on the cake, Hotel being 5 minutes walk from Hammersmith station is super handy.

Arrived on Sat 28th Dec 2024. Lovely friendly greeting upon our arrival. Had a lovely room , very clean. We stayed here as on our way to the Eventim Apollo Theatre to see Only Fools And Horses , and it was only 5 minutes walk away from the Novotel . Highly recommend this hotel , and a must see show .

Unfortunate lift experience

Hi I stayed with my wife with you 12/13 Dec. On the morning of the 13th at about 0635, we became stuck in No 2 lift. My wife became extremely distressed and quickly went into a state of shock and fear. When we eventually got out she collapsed in the hotel landing sobbing deeply and unable to move or stand up. We have had to have treatment for shock. I wanted to give you 2 specific points of feedback: After pushing the emergency call button the woman who answered the call said she would contact the emergency services to get us out of the lift. However she did not know how to locate us. She asked which city we were in, which hotel and what post code it was located. In this extremely distressing situation we had no idea what the post code is for the hotel- why would we - we live in NZ. This increased our anxiety considerably as we realised that we could potentially be stuck in the lift for hours. I realise this is a contracted service that you use but feel that this service was completely inadequate for us. The second point is the reaction to my wife’s distraught state by your staff. This we must commend. Angela did everything he could to ensure that my wife was able to cope with the shock of the incident: He opened the restaurant to allow her to sit down and calm herself and take food and drink. He ensured that we’re able to try and recover by constantly checking with us. He quickly took the lift out of action so others would not be trapped. He ordered a taxi at the hotels expense to take us to the Train station so that my wife would not have to go in the underground. He personally ensured all our luggage was accounted for in the taxi. He was extremely apologetic throughout. Technical problems can happen but it is how they are reacted too that matter. The call centre was very poor reaction but your reception staff reacted with the utmost respect and kindness. Regards Andrew NVDLFPRH 12/19/2024 - 12/21/2024

This is a contracted service, and while their methods may seem unusual, they are designed to ultimately gather the necessary details. That being said, we will certainly pass on your feedback to the company that manages the emergency call system. Secondly, we are pleased to hear that Angela, was able to provide assistance to your wife during this time. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to Angela regarding her efforts to assist your wife. It is always heartening to hear when our team members are able to provide support to our guests. Excellent location if seeing a show at the Eventim Hammersmith and included parking are the only good points of this hotel. On arrival the reception area makes you feel like you've stepped into a really high end hotel. Shame that all changes when you get to the room, very tatty And dated with damaged all over the place. Also the ancient air con didn't work and the room was like sleeping in a sauna.
