Welcome to ibis Paderborn City. It is located in the centre of the 1200-year-old university town, close to the restaurant and pub district. Almost all bus lines stop right outside the hotel and take you to all major destinations in and around Paderborn. Park your car in the outdoor car park or in the parking garage for a fee. After sightseeing or business appointments, relax in the 90 attractive rooms.

Cyclists are welcome to join us! Use the ibis Paderborn City to start from to the Römer-Lippe route. Of course, your bike parking will be free in our underground parking area during your overnight stay. But also for culture-loving guests, our location is in 3 minutes walk you reach the Paderhalle, which offers a varied program. Or should it be football? Benteler Arena is just a 20-minute walk away.

In 20 minutes you reach Hollywood Safari park in Stukenbrock or Wewelsburg in Büren. The external stones at Horn-Bad Meinberg or the Adlerwarte in Berlebeck are also very popular and only 30 minutes away!

The receptionist when we arrived was quite friendly and patient when I couldn’t understand how 67.50 incl child breakfast became 81.00 after applying a discount. Took a little while to get to sleep because the bedding had such a stench that I had t ask for them to be changed, which was done. The the room is very small and the bed is uncomfortable and after tossing and turning for hours, finally fell asleep only to be woken at 4.a. m. by a sound that sounded like people dragging furniture across the floor outside our door. It turned out to be noise from road construction outside because they’d left the windows and all connecting doors open. Breakfast could not have been more basic. Despite banners offering late checkout, when I asked, I was told it wasn’t possible as they are fully booked today. While searching for another hotel to move to, I couldn’t help noticing that Ibis hotel Paderborn city had lots of rooms available today. The daytime receptionist obviously just didn’t like my face😄I’ll give this place a wide birth henceforth and advice others to stay away. Waste
