Booked just the one night on route from Spain. We were checked in by a very distant female who didn’t want to be there. We were appointed our room and just smiled. We opened the door a smell of greasy hair hit us. Then a dirty pillow case had been left on floor this was obviously a cleaner mistake. Which I understand. When I went to reception to explain and showed her a photo I had taken of the pillow case i asked had the room been cleaned things really changed the female who checked us in wasn’t happy about my query and said I will look. She looked grabbed the dirty pillow case said all pillows smell like this it is the laundry we use. We said we would like to change room. We were then given a single disabled room. A cat would have struggled to have moved in it. We did not complain again. Just smiled and let her think we were happy. At 6:30am the fire alarm went off and the whole hotel had to evacuate. It was a false alarm but the 2 ladies who were there doing breakfast thought it was a big Joke and laughed. Sorry but the price I paid this was a nightmare stay. I have been an Accure member for many years and this was totally unacceptable.

If you’re thinking shall I book or not, trust me you’ll have a great experience

Arrived in challenging circumstances due to a car breakdown, the Manager and staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable, well appointed with super comfortable beds and smart shoer room. Had dinner in the hotel in a splendid atmosphere and the food was served with care and attention. All in all one of the if not the best Ibis I have ever experienced.

Great breakfast (which is open from 6am, perfect when getting back on the road), clean small room, good shower, secure store for bikes, easy parking, little but nice pool with a limited sitting area, perfect for a refresh after a long drive. Restaurant, more a bistro, basic, simple with limited food. Hotel is on a trading estate with a huge shopping centre a two minute walk across a parking lot so you could if you wished get yourself a picnic from the massive Carrefour or a takeaway. Staff happy to help. Recommend for a one night stop going south from Calais, good value too.

Great stop over hotel, we had a large family room with a double, two singles and a pull down bed! Hotel was clean. Staff were so accommodating, opened the bar for us and provided table tennis for the kids and table football. They allowed us to have breakfast early 5am. Hotel is just off the motorway and surrounded by shops, restaurants and a hypermarket. I would definitely stay again enroute to the alpes.
