Fantastic location close to the Cathedral and lots of restaurants. Parking is easy and located below the hotel but access is not clear (we drive around the block before finding it). The bed was strange because its height could change but really excellent mattress and a great nights sleep. The entrance is below reception And not welcoming but once you get to reception it’s fine. Two coach tours used the hotel while we were there but this was not a problem, the Novotel handled it well and even breaky was tasty. Room was huge, facilities basic but everything you would from a Novotel and ideal for a night in Metz.

Stunning and spacious room with comfortable beds. Good facilities (especially for families) : nice food in restaurant, lovely pool and basic fitness centre. Location is ideal. Staff friendly and helpful, really enjoyed our stay, and would happily stay again.

Located right by the St. Louis Square, you're in the middle of the action here. The hotel could use some updates, but the location is excellent as you're in the middle of old town. The cathedral is barely 500 m away and so are all virtually all the popular sights. Parking can be difficult as it's located over the central parking garage which gets jam packed on Friday and Saturday nights when people flock to the city center to enjoy drinks together. Parking in the garage is 15 Euros per day at the hotel rate. The rooms were ok. If transiting or coming for a short stay, the hotel is fine. Better to find a place more character though if you're staying longer or want to truly take in the city. There was just one lift for the hotel and that caused serious delays when trying to get down to breakfast or down to checkout followed by the parking garage. Seasonal pool available on site. Breakfast was very good.

Very central location, close to the cathedral, city centre and shops. However, rooms are big but a bit tired. Need renovation. One tiny elevator between reception and three bed room floors asks you to provide a lot of patience …. Staff very friendly

Room was good, sofa bed was surprisingly good, felt like a proper bed unlike the flimsy ones you get elsewhere. The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city centre and easy walk to most places you'd want to visit. Convenient parking underneath the hotel. The two negatives are the poor, dated condition of the rooms and the poor air con that didn't seem to make much of a difference whether it was on or off. Overall, the location makes this a decent choice for a short stay but rooms need refurbishment and better maintenance.
