We are on a trip for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant has decorated our table at dinner to help us celebrate. Everyone was very friendly and gave great service from the moment we checked in until we left. The young woman on reception even helped us get a SIM card into our phone.

Checkin was quick and easy. Room was good just probably shower needs to be updated. Otherwise good. Definitely recommend the restaurant Giuseppe's Cantina for dinner.

There wasn't any provision for bottled drinking water in the room. I would at least expect that from one of the reputed places of stay in Mt Isa. There was limited choice in the complimentary breakfast, which appeared mostly cereals and few choices of breads. There wasn't any freshly cooked food like pancakes or likes of it. Even items like spring rolls, chicken Kiev's etc would have been a great appetiser in my opinion.

Very poor overall experience. Room service menu states available until 8:30pm - I call at 8:05pm and put on hold by after hours automatic answer. Wait 5 minutes no answer. Call the phone number (external) listed on the room service menu, again put on hold wait 10 minutes, give up. Advised the desk in the morning with very little response from them. Went into breakfast , nobody in there to serve or seat. Went back to the front desk ordered coffees there and left. Paid for breakfast elsewhere.
