Being conveniently located in the centre of town was plus, the room itself was kept clean and tidy by hotel room service staff, and receptionists were welcoming, polite and helpful. Some signs of age present in the building itself, and a bit of noise at night from locals on the street. But overall I had no complaints as it met my needs. In regards to the booking question below, I booked online, and I was wanting to book directly with Ibis, but I found it was very difficult to determine which was the Ibis and which was a 3rd party booking agency. And I only discovered after booking that I didn’t have Ibis itself when I phoned with a question.

All of the staff I came into contact with were friendly, helpful and a credit to Accor. Special mention to the female restaurant staff who served me professionally despite a large group being present.

Good but rooms need better sound proofing, can hear someone snoring in another room and sound from hallway clearly
