Novotel Breda 4 estrelas

This place is outdated and in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are smelly we had the twin room and each bed is so small and so uncomfortable. AC doesn’t work properl so it’s hot all night, shower only gets to a certain temperature if you turn it hotter it automatically adjusts back to lower temperature within seconds. Breakfast is poor no hot options apart frm boiled or scrambled eggs nothing else hot to eat with this. To make matters worse the prices of buying basics like a bottle of water or a glass of wine is a rip off - 6 euros for a bottle of water !! Even in more tourist places we found it was around 3 euros. This hotel is taking advantage of the fact it is in the middle of nowhere by charging such ridiculous prices

We had a fantastic stay in the Novotel. The ladies working on reception in the afternoon and evening were absolutely lovely. They were efficient, kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. And the lady serving breakfast was also brilliant. They are a real credit to the hotel. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. Thanks for a great stay.

Tried booking in the Vandervalk Breda but they were sold out. So then was recommended this hotel by a friend and turns out that this place was even closer to the building I was going to have meetings at. The hotel is simple room bathroom and a desk for working. Abt 25 SQM. I just needed a roof over my head as my days and evenings were fully booked. It meet that criteria! So it’s simple and very reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable but the pillows not as much. It’s clean and the staff are very friendly. It’s abt 10 min drive from Breda central. They can call you a cab or Uber can work as well. It has two restaurants within walking distance and they are both satisfying. I can’t comment on breakfast as they do have it but I didn’t attend any of the mornings. I can say that I had a cappuccino in the mornings at their bar and that was acceptable. I will have to return in the next few months and I’m confident that I will book them again.

Room rates showing online (Agoda) and not mentioning other extra expenses. Had to add some taxes and they even charged 7.50 Euros for parking while it is really in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are ok, breakfast ar 22 Euro was good. Stop charging extras and just put it in the advertised price.
