wonderful stay

We had a great stay in January in the Resort. A seamless transportation of our luggage from Male Airport to our Rooms. Nice lounge at the airport for refreshing, drinks and snacks. Warmly welcome greetings at the Resort from the General Manager and staff. Nicely beaches, perfect for snorkeling and kayaking and other waterspouts. The main Restaurant offers a daily buffet with Indian dishes, Pasta live cooking, Sushi, Chinese dishes, Salad Bar and a great selection of Desserts. (The Opera cake was a dream). The Restaurant Manager has super knowledge about wines and we had been happy to follow his advise. The nice Bar over the water is a great spot to enjoy the Sun set. The Barkeeper Cola mixes great Drinks. All the staff had been extremely friendly and we felt as arriving home. We had Wonderfull 5 days and enjoyed every Minute of it. Thank you.

Wife and I had massages and after sun facial treatments. Sunita and Pooji were amazing and took great care of us!

Not in the same league as other 5* resorts

We booked the Pullman via Virgin Holidays and initially felt we had made the correct decision. In reality the experience in comparison to other 5* hotels the service and experience was lacking in every area with the other exception of the private dining host who was fantastic (apologies I failed to note her name). Bar service was not existent at the main pool, queuing at the bar as opposed to served at loungers. Domestic flight resulted in 6hrs delay to resort - never again. Seaplane or Speed boat Male transport only No turndown No allocated island host Food was good and we were happy with the quality Souq Oven waiters were extremely slow and for breakfast one morning we waited 40 mins for 2 black americanos. What was clear was that the teams all knew what great service looked like, as during our visit an inspector of some sorts was reviewing the standards. When he was in the facility the serve and attentiveness was outstanding-funny that. Also FYI if you are an All-Accor member you cannot claim points despite booking via a reputable agent. Extremely disappointing however does follow the experience as detailed above. Far too many properties in the Maldives that put this one to shame.

If you are staying at the Pullman I recommend a visit to the spa. I had a lovely 90 minute treatment with Rahul. I had a scrub and mask and massage.
