Great location. Close to the boat club and restaurants but the room wasn't what I expected. The table was outside and impossible to use in the rain. Nowhere else to eat or work. Room was on the ground floor. People walking past all the time so very noisy and no privacy. Staff were fantastic. I've stayed here before and had a great room.

Worst room in history, bed was horrible, towels smelt, balcony didn't have minimum walkways / Aus Standards, which caused me to hit my head on the AC unit that took up half the balcony. Claustrophobic and outdated.

Great staff made you feel welcome, every time we went to the reception the staff were there to help. A reel credit to the Mantra hervey bay. We are returning guests that always feel comfortable when we stay here. Good central location and close to the boat club and marina

My recent stay at this establishment left much to be desired. Instead of the sleek and inviting spaces depicted online, I found myself in dingy rooms lacking in both cleanliness and modern amenities. The initial room I was given was a grim affair. Tucked away in a corner of the building, it offered a view of nothing but walls and grass. The lack of cleanliness was striking, with mysterious stains adorning the carpet and curtains, paint and woodwork marred with scratches and chips, ants making themselves at home along the walls, and a few unfortunate souls perished in the bathtub. The mold above the AC unit added to the unsavory ambiance, while clumps of hair littered the bathroom floor. Upon voicing my concerns to the reception, I was relocated to what was purported to be a "VIP room" with a promise of a better experience. While the view of the marina was indeed fantastic, the room still fell short. Its dated decor and the makeshift double bed, composed of two singles uncomfortably pushed together, were disappointing. The presence of a dead cockroach in the bathroom further dampened any hopes of a pleasant stay. Despite requesting a clean-up, the sight of the persistent cockroach greeted me upon my return. Furthermore, the "gym" advertised on the website was a dismal excuse for fitness facilities. Instead of a well-equipped exercise area, guests are greeted with a claustrophobic glass box adjacent to the reception, housing a treadmill, a bench, and a cycling machine. The absence of free weights is particularly disappointing, especially considering the price point of this establishment. As someone who values fitness and chose this hotel partly for its advertised gym, this was a major letdown. For the price charged, one would also expect at least a smart TV, allowing guests to access streaming services like Netflix. It's a minor point compared to the broader issues with cleanliness and facilities, but it speaks to the overall lack of attention to guest comfort and satisfaction. The nearby restaurant options are good and if you have a view of the marina it is pretty, but I would strongly discourage staying here until it has had a serious revamp. Highly disappointed in the Mantra and Accor brands.

Disappointed. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Very old, dated, tired rooms. No aircon in bedrooms, only in lounge room. TV was very old TV remote stopped working Unable to connect to Mantra internet Bed configuration was incorrect Beds very hard Very noisy rooms as located close to reception and car park Car parking not always provided as car park full, had to park elsewhere. Shower over bath is ridiculously high, and unsafe Lounge needs throwing out, very old, broken and uncomfortable. Mantra ask for an extra $200 fee, at check in. Wouldn’t stay here again, it’s not what I expected. I expected more from Mantra..
