Historic building set on beautiful grounds

Historic building with a great reception area and beautiful gardens. Only a short drive into down. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Bed was a little on the firm side and the outside of the windows could do with a brush down to remove a few cob webs. Really enjoyed the on-site restaurant and had one of the best meals of my life there, thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Beautiful old comfortable building like an old shoe you love to wear despite its age and wear. Happy to go back beautiful gardens excellent staff and service. Food very good. Will definitely be going back. Close to Bowral and great shopping.

We arrived and were warmly greeted. After putting our bags in our room we had a walk around this charming building. After exploring and looking at the old history photos, we went and sat in the comfy lounges in front of the fireplace and enjoyed a drink prior to dinner. Dinner was excellent.

Craigieburn fell well short of what we expect from a Pepper's property and was extremely overpriced for what it was.

Beautiful weekend escape

Beautiful and picturesque. If you want to go somewhere to switch off then this is a great little place. The food is fantastic, breakfast and dinner was wonderful. However if you’re used to being able to connect your phone to the TV to watch the nrl or anything else for that matter it’s not an option. There is no lift, yes there are only 2 floors however you may struggle with carrying your bags to the second floor. Rooms are ok not the largest I’ve come across but nor are they the smallest. Bowral is a beautiful little town with so many little shops to explore and you have to try the bakery and the crepe restaurant both are to die for.
