This was by far the nicest place to stay on the main island of Fiji. Top notch customer service, food, accommodations, amenities, everything was 100%. They also have gluten free options. They were flexible on check in & check out. All restaurant options were very good.

Stayed for 3 days/2 nights in the adults only wing with access to the Waitui Beach Club. Perfect location to relax for a couple of days and do nothing. Room was very well appointed and looked out over the Beach Club/pool/ocean. Enjoyed having a choice of loungers/day beds to relax on. The complimentary food and beverages are a nice touch. Was able to check in at 10am right at the beach club upon arrival at the hotel. Room was not ready but had full use of the club/facilities immediately which was great. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

What an amazing place to start our first trip to Fiji. The staff are extremely accommodating, the facilities are impeccable and the overall atmosphere was so relaxing. Even though there were a number of large groups and families, it never felt overwhelmingly busy - in fact there really weren’t many lines for various activities etc. Will definitely be back in the future.

Amazing family holiday

First I would like to start off to a big thank you from Asena in the airport team who really started off our trip on a great start. From a personalized express check in , transfers and selecting us as guests of the day which gave us an unforgettable experience. Also a big thank you to Sevu riding the buggies, our kids could not stop asking for you after we left, it was lovely meeting you. Thank you also to Mary at Waitui Beach club and Vilimaina who did our laundry, you were both so lovely to us. What can I say! this was our first family holiday with 2 kids (aged 3 and 1) and it was a beautiful experience all round. The service, food, pools, rooms, nannies and kids club were all great and we had absolutely no problems. We cannot wait to return next year and hopefully it can be a longer trip next time! :)

The Sofitel is an ideal resort for a Honeymoon! When we arrived we were greeted with big, warm smiles, called by name and told "welcome home!". There is a pillow shop to choose your preferred pillow for free! There's a very classy night club on site with lights and a dancefloor to boogie off those extra calories you will consume at one of the 3 fantastic restaurants! We stayed at the Adults only Waitui Beach club, where the pool and views were magnificent. Plenty of cabanas and day beds for all. Happy hour was FREE canapes and cocktails - as many as you liked! And the sunsets were UNREAL in September! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. They were full of jokes and happy to serve you. At Waitui Bar & Grill they hand out cold face towels and gave us a free champagne for our honeymoon. They give you free bread and dips at both Waitui and Solis restaurants. The food is outstanding. Bazaar Buffet has a magnificent range of cusines. We don't have kids, however the Sofitel had many kids activities and huge family pool on offer that would be perfect for families to stay here. The Sofitel Spa is stunning and tranquil - couples massage was divine and with any booking, they allow you to use the hot jacuzzi and bathroom facilities to shower. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT! Would definitely stay here again! Room was GORGEOUS.
