Valle de Guadalupe is such a wonderful place and we loved staying at Banyan Tree. Sonia, Diego, and all of the staff are exceptional hosts. We can’t wait to come back! The rooms, the food, and the views were all incredible. We felt very peaceful.

Having seen the reviews, we were very excited to visit the resort. We were staying elsewhere, but navigated one of the worst, rutty dirt roads in the Valle after a rainstorm, with the expectation of touring the property, having dinner at the restaurant, and potentially staying for a night. On arrival, we were informed that all vehicles needed to be parked at the bottom of the hill, and we would be transported up to the reception center and/or restaurant in a golf cart, which would arrive in around 10 minutes. While we were waiting, we checked out the tasting room, which looked interesting, but we didn't want to order anything, for fear of missing our ride. Unfortunately, after well over half an hour, there was no golf cart, no estimate of when one might be available, and no apologies or offers to offset the inconvenience. Disappointed and frustrated, we finally gave up and went elsewhere for dinner. So, not likely that we'll try again. Perhaps for someone who wants to stay isolated at a resort, and not try to venture out anywhere else, it's probably a beautiful place. But for anyone who wants the flexibility of coming and going as they please, this does not appear to be a good option.

Amazing experience at Banyan Tree Valle de Guadalupe!!! 10/10 room and service were perfect. Breakfast amazing buffet and dinner was also great. Each room has it’s own jacuzzi very relaxing weekend getaway with all the amenities needed.

NICEST PLACE IVE STAYED IN! Loved every corner of this place! Everything is very nice and peaceful , the rooms are beautiful and they have absolutely everything you need! My favorite part was the jacuzzi!!!! Loved it it is perfect if you want to come and have some peaceful alone time with your partner

Excellent service, friendly environment and beautiful and peaceful place. Staff were friendly and helpful, the location is prime, and the amenities are first rate. We were here for a one-night stay, but the relaxing environment made our rest feel longer.
