We lunched in the restaurant at Fable Terrace Downs. The view over the golf course was quite beautiful. The lunch was great and the staff friendly and considerate. I would highly recommend the venue to anyone thinking of a staff conference or like.

From arrival to departure we were very impressed by this resort which is situated in the most magnificent surroundings. The staff were welcoming and professional. The Villa was perfect, easy to access with a covered bay for our car. The restaurant staff, again were welcoming, attentive and clearly making an effort to engage with us. The golf course is well kept and challenging. I did comment on the poor state of hire clubs and was assured that new ones were on order and there would be no charge for the existing ones. All in all a most pleasant short stay. We would certainly return.

Spacious rooms and a beautiful property define Fable Terrace Downs Resort, yet limited services raised questions about the 'resort' label. Despite a prompt response to an incident in our room, it highlighted its limitations: nonexistent internet (we couldn't even assess speed as it never worked), a nonfunctional intercom, necessitating a direct call from my smartphone to report the incident to the reception, room cleanliness, limited service in the restaurant and bar, and a very basic breakfast. Overall, it was an experience that fell short of resort expectations.

Siamo stati a cena per il mio trentesimo compleanno al loro ristornante! Che dire:SUPER a dir poco!!! Servizio impeccabile e cucina davvero raffinata! Abbiamo iniziato con capesante e pancia di maiale. Perfettamente cucinate e dai sapori delicati. Come pietanza principale: anatra e piatto vegetariano. Praticamente impossibile da finire data la quantita' e per finire affogato e creme brulee...inutile dire che il costo ne vale la pena anche se a mio parere non e' eccessivo. Un bellissimo compleanno!

Sono stato a al Terrace down per lavoro. Mi sono trovato bene, le stanze erano pulite anche se il design non era un gran che. Stranamente ho mangiato bene, cosa non semplice in NZ. Il golf annesso non è un gran che dal punto di vista tecnico ma ci sono delle buche con una vista mozzafiato....
