Beautiful hotel newly opened this year. Received upgrade to suite with plunge pool which was gorgeous! Only criticism was insufficient storage for a two week vacation. Staff were all warm, friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.

Location Positive - Great walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants. Nice view of the sea/Jetty Negative - Located on an extremely ugly one way road with some run down buildings and shops. This takes away from the luxurious feel of a 5* hotel. Parking is not the best. Staff try their best to park customers cars but this is not convenient for us. Every time we found a parking space outside the hotel, staff would insist on taking the keys from us and parking it elsewhere. They return the keys and tell you where they parked your car which is rather silly in my opinion. They have unofficially made the parking spaces directly outside the hotel "theirs" so they do not allow you to park there. I hate this idea as damage can be caused to rental cars and you would have no idea who was at fault or when. Food - Positive - Amazing fresh orange juice every morning for breakfast. Beautiful views of the Sea and mountains from Mira Restaurant. Negative - For a 5* hotel, the breakfast in my opinion was poor. Cereal was stale. Boiled eggs were impossible to peel. You end up ripping off 3/4 of the egg white itself by the time you remove the shell. I personally do not eat pork so I found myself very restricted for meats at breakfast other than really salty turkey slices. Food was inconsistent which bothered me a lot. Mira Restaurant: Food was nice but choices are poor. Only meat dish is a Tandoori breaded chicken or pork. The remaining dishes included in half baord were fish. If you wanted beef or lamb, you pay 15EUR extra. Soft drinks are extra at 4EUR for 250ml bottles. Ariagne Restaurant: Poor food. Everything is drowned in oil. Red peppercorns thrown on absolutely every single plate. No clear warnings of pork being included in the salad or grilled chicken dish. I do not recommend going half board or all inclusive. The food was not bad, but it was not good either. Breakfast Room: Positive - Newly built so rooms are still nice and clean with no mould or cosmetic wear. Clarins bodywash and shampoo provided in the rooms which was nice. Great smart TV with Chromecast so it was convenient to use. Negative - Poor shower room design although I realise this is very common in Greece. We experienced this in Rhodes, Santorini and Crete. No door so shower water splashes out. Poor extraction so the room would become misty after every shower. We had the Deluxe Superior Room with Front Sea View and Balcony. What this actually meant was view of outside traffic and the main road with the sea in the background. Again, this completely ruined the feel of the hotel being Luxury or 5*. It is difficult to be at peace or relax when you can see tourists and other people (non hotel guests) walking across the street and looking directly at you from the balcony. The hotel as a whole: They have amazing views from the pool and restaurant. I feel like the hotel did not feel like 5* due to the service from staff. Don't get me wrong, they weren't rude. Pleasant but not 5* if that makes sense. We arrived late. Nobody explained to us how to get to the restaurant, where the "fitness room" was. We were on the 4th floor, restaurant was on the 5th. The lift on our floor does not take us to the restaurant. You have to go to floor 4A, cross the hallway and take another set of lifts to get there. Overall I would say the hotel is nice and clean with nice views. I would not give it 5 stars however.

Hotel di recente apertura con concept minimal e di buon gusto per arredo camere e spazi comuni. La nostra camera vista mare e plunge pool sul balcone…. Meravigliosa. Kit amenities di Clarins, eccellente. La colazione al quinto piano vista mare sulla baia di Mirabello e piscina a sfioro, davvero suggestiva. Colazione favolosa con proposte di dolce e salato di qualità eccellente. Per avere più tranquillità e’ consigliata la piscina al nono piano. Vista mozzafiato. Un grazie a tutto il personale che è stato sempre molto professionale, attento e cordiale! Hotel situato in posizione strategica per poter visitare le meraviglie di questa parte dell’isola. Sono disponibili anche dei lettini sulla piccola spiaggia che si trova attraversando la strada. Abbiamo noleggiato auto al nostro arrivo in hotel che si appoggia ad un’agenzia che ha soddisfatto subito le nostre esigenze. L’hotel si trova a cinque minuti dal centro di Agios Nikolaos dove ci sono molti locali e negozi.

Ci siamo voluti fidare nonostante l'hotel avesse aperto da poco e ci fossero pochissime recensioni disponibili, ma la fiducia è stata ampiamente ripagata: struttura ben pensata, in ottima posizione per visitare la parte est di Creta, con camere ampie e funzionali. La camera vista piscina/mare con vasca idromassaggio sul balcone era confortevole e curata in ogni dettaglio, il bagno con doccia a vista molto bello con prodotti Clarins di alta qualità. La piscina principale e quella del rooftop entrambe perfette, con lettini comodissimi. Menzione speciale alla colazione, varia, di altissima qualità e con tanti prodotti tipici ogni giorno. Il personale estremamente gentile e disponibile.
