During August, which is the peak of the summer season, the city is naturally very lively, with increased activity from nearby businesses, entertainment venues, and public areas. While we understand that noise can be disturbing, this is unfortunately a characteristic of staying in a central city location during the busiest period of the year. Regarding the water supply issue, we fully understand your frustration. However, this situation was not caused by the hotel. The interruption originated from the local water supply authority and affected the wider area. Despite this, our team made every possible effort to minimize the inconvenience to our guests. We provided access to the spa facilities for showers and restroom use and worked continuously to find solutions. In fact, we managed to restore and maintain water availability at the hotel before the issue was generally resolved throughout the surrounding area. Concerning the 2,000 loyalty points offered, this was a goodwill gesture that I personally decided to provide, despite the fact that the water supply interruption was outside of our control and responsibility. The intention was simply to acknowledge the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We regret that our efforts did not meet your expectations and that you have chosen not to stay with Mercure hotels in the future.
