The hotel is quite avant-garde, including a round shower in the privileged room. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and snack were very welcome. Staff and facilities were excellent. Breakfast buffet was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good with a great verity, specially for the small turnout of guests.

The hotel is situated down a quieter side street but within easy walking distance of Poinente beach and the old town shops and restaurants. The hotel looks attractive from the outside and the ground floor houses the buffet restaurant, a la carte restaurant and multiple seating areas. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. One side of the hotel are standard rooms, the other side has the privilege rooms. There are 9 floors so I'd recommend requesting one at a level you are comfortable with. The standard rooms have the morning sunshine which then gets blocked by the hotel opposite. The privilege rooms have the afternoon sun until it sets. The lower the floor you are on could mean you have shade from the multiple trees around the pool area. The standard rooms are comfortable with aircon, sliding door to the balcony, and an effective ceiling fan. We slept with the door open and the fan on which was a comfortable temperature but we went in winter. The shower and toilet have separate doors but the sink area is separated by a partition wall with a double sided mirror. The storage area is open with shelves below the hanging rail and above the fridge. This meant we had to keep bending down low for some shelves and couldn't see what was on the higher shelves, there are no drawers. There are two narrow shelves beside the bed which hold very little. The safe is a handy addition at no extra cost. Housekeeping clean daily but with limited time there's no attention to detail. My hair was caught in the shower grate each time I washed it, this was not cleared all week. I spilt some tea on the sink area, this was not cleaned up either. The bed is sprayed with a strong smelling freshener which can be overpowering if you prefer unscented bedding. The buffet breakfast had generous selections, the cooked items usually included streaky bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, fried eggs etc. I tried a cheese omelette freshly cooked, it was revolting. It was like a plastic wrap, the eggs were not fluffy and the cheese wasn't melted. I saw others leave their omelette. Evening meals were very good for salads, fish and cold meats. I don't like fish and struggled to find something to eat apart from salad and potatoes. Pork was often available but it was too chewy or fatty for my liking. The chicken skewers were so tough they were not enjoyable. The photos of the beautiful plates of food are from the a la carte restaurant so don't think you'll be getting the same in the buffet dining area. Overall our stay was comfortable and pleasant but I'd not choose to stay again based on the food choices, I've had far more extensive and better cooked options in other 4 star Benidorm hotels.

A modern exceptionally clean hotel. Great ambience with contemporary fittings. Lovely buffet restaurant with so much choice for all types of diet. Attention to food displays . Good à la carte restaurant too. Very professional dining and bar staff. Good size pool with plenty of beds and chairs to sit on. Very easy to walk to the beach and promenade. Close enough to shops and a short walk all on the flat to tapas alley. Situated out of the busier night life of Benidorm. This hotel offers rooms and separate dining areas for your furry friends too. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Where do I even begin?! Location: Location couldn’t be any better, the hotel is within a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the main old town. It is close by to supermarkets, there is one next door to the hotel which sells all amenities you may need and there are all kinds of restaurants and bars on the beach front, all within walking distance! We visited in November where albeit it wasn’t mid summer, but the pool is slightly shaded with other high rise nearby but still was nice to be sat around the pool, you would just need to move around with the sun but it was warmer on the beach front! There is also a pharmacy opposite the hotel. The hotel is around a 20-30 minute walk from the main strip but only €8 in taxi. Food & drink: We stayed B&B, so never experienced the lunch or evening meal but the breakfast! Wow! Something for everyone, whether you want fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts, cooked breakfast, it’s there and it was so tasty. Even for self catering or room only, there is a lot of restaurants and bars just a stone throw away, even Burger King and popeyes for a quick fast food stop if you’d prefer, these where at the bottom of the street. The room itself: We stayed in room 311. Very modern, bed was extremely comfortable. It was the best sleep my wife and I have had in a while, and a special mention to even the pillows because wow! There’s reviews about no mugs however there is.. they are thermal glasses which seem to be in thing now rather than mugs. Full tea and coffee, with herbal teas available in your room which is topped up daily if you’d prefer. Accessibility: We travelled with my grandmother who has accessibility issues, and the hotel was so accommodating to her, on arrival a mobility scooter was ordered for €50 for 5 days and was there within 3 hours. The hotel is based on a hill, so may be something to keep in mind. Plenty of lifts within the hotel too with no hidden stairs to get places. Safe to say as same sex married couple, we felt safe and comfortable here so much so, whilst there we booked to come back again in January. Get this place booked for a truly luxurious, modern holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the new town!

This is a good hotel that I would have given 5 stars but for the breakfast room that I found uncomfortable. My preference on holiday is to eat outside this didn’t appear to be an option. The dining room decor is pleasant. The tables are very close together. Tables near the hot food lamps are particularly warm. However, breakfast buffet was good . Especially the fresh fruit and juices. We had standard rooms on the 5th floor . Excellent air conditioning and powerful ceiling fan. I am a plus sized woman with mobility problems and was able to move easily within the room. Choose the mercure for the outside space and pool. The trees make for a cool oasis. All staff were outstanding, pleasant and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the Old Town. We would definitely consider a return trip but I think next time we will want to stay in the New Town
