Il Raffles Doha rappresenta il massimo del lusso e dell'eleganza per chi soggiorna in Qatar, un vero gioiello nel cuore della nuova zona di Doha denominata Lusail. Durante il mio soggiorno, ogni dettaglio è stato impeccabile e ha superato le mie aspettative. Le ampie suite sono un capolavoro di design raffinato e offrono una vista mozzafiato sullo skyline di Doha, rendendo il soggiorno un'esperienza davvero unica. L'offerta tecnologica e la dotazione del bagno doccia oltre che la domotica sono di valore eccezionale e superano quanto visto fino ad ora in altri hotel. L'esperienza di colazione è davvero particolare: ti senti apprezzato e valorizzato come ospite importante. Un buon buffet all'ingresso è accompagnato da un servizio di ordinazioni alla carta di alta qualità. Imperdibile il Waffle Signature Raffles. Il personale è incredibilmente professionale, discreto, cortese e attento, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con efficienza e un sorriso. Ho avuto la fortuna anche di cenare al Ristorante Michelin italiano Alba: cucina moderna che interpreta la tradizione culinaria del passato davvero eccezionale: ogni piatto è una delizia per il palato, preparato con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Non ho avuto la possibilità di visitare il centro benessere. Due le piscine a disposizione. Al piano terra la piscina panoramica a sfioro, oasi di relax e confort. Forse il piccolo neo è rappresentato dalla ombratura nelle ore pomeridiane. E' disponibile anche la piscina Aqua, con vista panoramica ed esperienza simile a un beach club, che aggiunge un tocco di magia al soggiorno. Purtroppo non riesco a dare l'eccellenza completa a causa dei lavori di ristrutturazione che stanno interessando l'ingresso della struttura e alcune aree comuni, lavori che sono in corso dopo solo due anni dall'apertura. Entrare dal garage sotterraneo della struttura purtroppo fa mancare l'esperienza completa di un hotel di tali dimensioni e importanza. Tuttavia dopo un breve ascensore rientri vicino all ex ingresso principale dove potrai ammirare la maestosa lobby a specchi. Sempre a causa dei lavori, sentivamo un forte odore di vernice nella suite. Comunicato alla reception ci è stata offerta dopo qualche ora un cambio di suite di pari valore, con però il disagio di rifare i bagagli e trasferirci nella nuova camera. Questo rappresenta comunque un problema transitorio dell'albergo che purtroppo riguarda chi ci è capitato durante tali lavori. Consiglio vivamente il Raffles Doha a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza di lusso a cinque stelle. È stato un soggiorno davvero da ricordare, paragonabile ad altre esperienze estremamente lussuose come il Burj Al Arab di Dubai o Emirates Palace di Abu Dhabi. Vorrei ringraziare in particolare il Concierge Supervisor Mr. Phyo Wai che ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più esclusivo e personalizzato, grazie alla sua professionalità e dedizione alla struttura Raffles. Raffles Doha represents the ultimate in luxury and elegance for those staying in Qatar, a true jewel in the heart of the new area of ​​Doha called Lusail. During my stay, every detail was impeccable and exceeded my expectations. The spacious suites are a masterpiece of refined design and offer a breathtaking view of the Doha skyline, making the stay a truly unique experience. The technological offer and the bathroom shower equipment as well as the home automation are of exceptional value and exceed what I have seen so far in other hotels. The breakfast experience is truly special: you feel appreciated and valued as an important guest. A good buffet at the entrance is accompanied by a high quality à la carte ordering service. The Raffles Signature Waffle is unmissable. The staff is incredibly professional, discreet, courteous and attentive, ready to satisfy every request with efficiency and a smile. I was also lucky enough to dine at the Italian Michelin-starred Alba Restaurant: modern cuisine that interprets the culinary tradition of the past, truly exceptional: each dish is a delight for the palate, prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I did not have the opportunity to visit the wellness center. There are two pools available. On the ground floor, the panoramic infinity pool, an oasis of relaxation and comfort. Perhaps the small flaw is the shade in the afternoon hours. The Aqua pool is also available, with a panoramic view and an experience similar to a beach club, which adds a touch of magic to the stay. Unfortunately, I cannot give complete excellence due to the renovation work that is affecting the entrance of the structure and some common areas, work that is underway after only two years from the opening. Entering from the underground garage of the structure unfortunately misses the complete experience of a hotel of this size and importance. However, after a short elevator you return near the former main entrance where you can admire the majestic mirrored lobby. Also due to the work, we smelled a strong smell of paint in the suite. We reported it to the reception and after a few hours we were offered a change of suite of equal value, but with the inconvenience of repacking our bags and moving to the new room. This is however a temporary issue of the hotel that unfortunately affects those who happened to be there during these works. I would highly recommend Raffles Doha to anyone looking for a five-star luxury experience. It was a truly memorable stay, comparable to other extremely luxurious experiences such as the Burj Al Arab in Dubai or the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. I would like to especially thank the Concierge Supervisor Mr. Phyo Wai who made our stay even more exclusive and personalized, thanks to his professionalism and dedication to the Raffles property.
