We had a most enjoyable stay in Novotel Angers. All staff we met were, without exception, so friendly and welcoming, and made recommendations for our short stay in their beautiful city. The rooms were immaculately clean with excellent air con which was most welcome during the exceptionally hot weather. Breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return someday.

Arrived Christmas Eve for 2 nights to visit family in Angers for Christmas. Super hotel, clean, decent sized rooms and bathroom. I used the gym each day - small but has several machines and open 24/7. We opted not to have breakfast in the hotel, but walked 2 mins to the Boulanderie de la Gare where they have some tables and had coffee, pastries etc The parking is expensive with only 6 euros discount from the hotel (and it didn’t work for us so we’ve got to claim it back online!) Overall Would recommend the hotel.

We will be back!

We had a really lovely stay in the hotel. The staff were brilliant and the added extras which weren’t charged for, were thoughtful. The children were given smarties and a teddy each. Great to have parking at the hotel which is based a short enjoyable walk from the old town. We will be back. Angers is a really lovely place to stay and we would like to return to see more of the town. Lots of local restaurants to choose from. All seemed family-friendly. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel. Instead we visited a local Boulanger which was soooo delicious!

well located, easy access hotel, modern , great views and facilities , generous staff English no problem, authentic French breakfast delicious and great service we loved it here , we caught the train from here taking luggage is not very far

The hotel is conveniently close to the central station, and a large public garage is sandwiched between the two, which the hotel provides a modest discount for. We were given a complimentary upgrade for our 2 nights to an executive room – which was OK but nothing special. The bed had a comfortable memory foam mattress, there was a safe, a fridge stocked with expensive drinks we always ignore and a bathroom with separate WC. The shower though spacious, was a bit pathetic. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Angers Castle and the old town. We balked (as we usually do) at paying €19 for breakfast as we never make good enough use of it, but they do provide a simpler version for €8. We've taken to finding a Paul bakery in town and having a better breakfast there for less than hotels demand.

Dear Novotel's customer, I don't know your name so i can't find your reservation but thank you for your feedback. A coment on internet can be very important for the other "potential guests" so i leave some information : 1) For the carpark, we sell a ticket 1.50€ at the front desk and you have 6€ less when you go out of the carpark. We buy this ticket 1.50€, it's an advantage for a part of our guest who come by car, not a benefit for our company. (between 7pm and 7am, it's 2.50€ for 12hours) 2) In an executive room, the drinks in the fridge are free. 3) Absolutely, we have 2 offers for the breakfast and just to let the readers know, at 19€ it's a continental buffet with a large part of local products (yogourts, cheeses, ham, sausages...) We hope to see you again if you come back in Angers. Best regards, Ophélie
