Service was not to expectation for an Accor brand. Buffet restaurant staff switched off the coffee machines at the breakfast buffet at 10am sharp on Sunday even though it was very very busy and had taken us over 30minutes to find an available table. Understand food will end at 10am but usually there is some further time given for coffee, water etc while people finish their meals. As Gold members we asked for late checkout to 3pm on the Monday of our departure and were told only 2pm was possible as the hotel was fully booked. We later understood the occupancy that night to be only 30% and there was no queue of people waiting to check into rooms at all when we departed. Before leaving for the airport we ordered a quick snack of drinks and some chicken wings. The chicken wings took over 30 minutes to be served. Even we had advised we would be leaving for the airport. We were upgraded to suite rooms which while dated were in ok condition and good for our stay. Didn’t experience noise issues reported by other guests. Location was as expected, a little distance from the activity spots in Georgetown but we knew that would be the case. Just disappointed that service was not to the standard we have experienced across the Accor brands in Asia and Europe.
