Worth the stay at whatever cost. For those visiting the Nabatean city of Petra, the Movenpick Hotel truly is the best choice. It’s the only upscale hotel within reasonable walking distance to the park’s entrance, and trust me, after a full day exploring the site, you'll want to be close to your hotel at day's end. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff are friendly—especially Madel, who was incredibly helpful during our visit—and very accommodating. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. The hotel bar is a great spot to unwind and mingle with other travelers. Petra is an inspiring destination, and staying at the Movenpick makes the experience even more enjoyable.

We stayed at the Movenpick Petra for two nights in March 2025 as part of our tour of Jordan. I truly couldn't find any faults with this hotel. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, especially Madell R., who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The food was delicious, and the location was ideal. Overall, the service, room quality, and hospitality far exceeded our expectations.

After two long, hard, and hot dusty days, there’s nothing better than knowing you only have to walk across the road to this oasis of coolness and comfort. The room was clean and inviting, with great hot showers to wash away the dust. The beds were comfortable, and the crisp sheets added to the feeling of relaxation.
