The hotel is very well located, next to the main historical site just cross the road to the visitor center. The staff were friendly , room was very clean and Al Ghadeer Roof Garden was amazing specially the BBQ dinner and the service. Thank you.

This hotel is amazing. It’s right across from the visitors center. I would not stay anywhere else! The staff was incredible! I One morning I woke up with my back bothering me and the reception staff called a taxis and had them deliver ibuprofen to the hotel for no extra charge!! Also the staff at the rooftop restaurant were awesome especially Mary Ann!! Thanks to everyone for making your visit to Petra 7 Star!!!!!!

Just had two wonderful nights at the Movenpick Petra. The room was spotless and cool after a day in the sun visiting Petra. It will be a very picky person who cannot find something they like for breakfast, the choice is massive. Do not miss the chance to have dinner in the roof garden. The Arabian mixed grill is sublime. Chocolate hour is not to be missed, but be careful to check what drinks are included in Happy Hour or you could get caught out. I would particularly like to commend Odah S in the bar, Rasha who was in the bar and up at the roof terrace and finally Fouad on the roof garden who went above and beyond to make our stay one we will not forget, but all the staff are wonderful. The location of the hotel literally just across the road from the Petra entrance is perfect, especially after you have walked out in the heat of the day. Please do not be put off visiting Jordan due to the middle-east problems, we have found nothing but wonderfully hospitable people and a very friendly warm welcome.

After over 11,000 steps I passed on the lovely lemon and mint drink and had a mojito 🐪 I had hoped to go to the monastery but Viking kept us very busy over two weeks and my body said no way! Mutaz N and Mohammad H at breakfast and lunch very helpful!
