Absolutely impressed by this hotel. The room had a cosy vibe and was modern, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and short taxi ride to Kyoto’s centre. Would stay here again.

It is so far from station, no facilities available. Always crowded with tour groups. Breakfast needs to queue. Long waiting time for minor arrangement at front desk. No managerial personnel around. Seems to be lack of management.

We appreciate your comments about the room facilities and understand your concerns regarding the lack of a bathtub and laundry room. Please note that we do offer rooms with bathtubs, and we hope you will consider reserving one next time to enjoy a more relaxing stay. 离京都站步行约10分钟，地理位置并不便利；房间虽然做了升级，却和基础房型的大小没有区别；浴室水压非常小，洗澡十分困难；白金会员的下午茶权益已经取消，也没有向日本别的美居那样提供畅饮权益。总之，非常糟糕的体验。

Had one of the best stays during my Japan trip in Mercure. The hotel is an experience in itself with carefully curated theme and a scent welcoming you from the reception until your room. Treated us well being an Accor member and would definitely suggest this place to anyone staying in Kyoto. A class apart.
