교토역에서 캐리어를 끌고도 10분 이내에 도착할 수. 있는 정도의 거리. 메인 출입구가 건물 뒷편에 있어서 찾기가 불편하고 로비도 좁은데 캐리어가 상당부분 차지하고 있어서 어수선하다. 객실은 일반적인 일본 호텔에 비해 넓은 편이고 침구도 나쁘지 않다. 프론트나 레스토랑 직원들은 영어도 잘하고 친절하다. 조식은 쏘쏘, 비싼 돈 주고 먹을 만한 수준은 아닌 걸로...

Excellent hotel within walking distance of train station. Fantastic buffet breakfast was included in our tariff. Italian/pizza restaurant in evening ~ tasty. Bar drinks were reasonably priced. Room was small but very comfortable, especially the bed. Separate shower room with an excellent variable shower head. Free WiFi & airconditioning. No view, windows were opaque, ?neighbour privacy. Attentive & helpful staff. Defiantly would re-visit.

교토역에서 멀지 않은 좋은 위치에 있으며, 주택가에 있어서 조용하고 무엇보다 방안에서 교토타워를 볼 수 있어서 멋지고 좋았습니다. 다만, 조명이 어두워서 약간 불편 했습니다.

A short walk from Kyoto Station (or bus from outside) Mercure Kyoto Station is a perfect place to base yourself when visiting Kyoto. It is new, modern and beuatifully designed. Superior Room was very large by Japanese standards which was very welcome with two suitcases. King size bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Bathroom on the other hand was small and contained the only mirror in the entire room. A full length mirror would have been nice in the entranceway. Room and hotel in general was spotless and extremely clean. Based on the price we paid, the accomodation offering and proximity to transport I would happily recommend staying here as it provides everything nessessary after a long day exploring everything Kyoto has to offer.
